Rufaro Stadium. Zimbabwe marked the transition from Rhodesia to sovereign rule here, as the flag went up for the 1st time in 1980. In many ways this stadium is symbolic of the state of the country under Zanu-PF rule. A leadership that can't take responsibility is delinquent!

Zim is 42 today. My uncle was bludgeoned to death in Chapanduka village, 2008 by @ZANUPF_Official thugs because he supported the opposition. Killed in independent Zim, like so many others. Today I pray for independence from politicians who feel entitled to power, who kill for it!

It’s now very clear that @edmnangagwa intends to run alone in the elections, with opposition candidates participating only as names on ballots whilst they’re in reality tied up and kept off the campaign trail. It’s a cowardly, unconstitutional & very backward strategy!

The narrative pushed by Zanu-PF aligned "mbingas" to the youth that you can't make money if you're not Zanu-PF is normalising the abnormal & admitting Zanu-PF's corruption of our social order. It must be challenged & used as an example of why Zim will never develop under Zanu-PF!

. @nelsonchamisa apologises for using inappropriate words, but @edmnangagwa won't apologise for Gukurahundi genocide. He refused to apologise for August 1 killings, only calling it regrettable. Yet we've got pple going to town abt Chamisa whilst gushing support for ED. The irony!
