When I tell people I come from Nandi they expect a serene tea farm background, overproducing dairy cows, or I use Kienyeji Mboga as a broom. Haha Very funny. This is Chemase, dry & Rocky, we grow sugarcane, cows cannot tolerate heat and cannot produce enough food. 1/4

These are by far my fav variants of Amaranth. Freely grows, has less water when cooked, rich taste 😋. I had been waiting for birds to come plant it on my #KitchenGarden but seems they needed me to go an extra mile for them so I crossed over to my neighbour #MamaMboga
