So, about 6 weeks ago I had emergency eye surgery to save the sight in my right eye. Thanks to the brilliant surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at the QMC’s @EENTTheatres I’m fit, well and at my first match since the surgery. It’s Villa v Legia Warsaw for me on @5liveSport

Should add that I'm sorry to see Jon Stead leave the Lane with relegation the final chapter. Nearly 200 appearances and more than 50 goals for a guy who was often asked to play in a role that didn't come naturally to him. He gave everything.

#dcfc administrators confirm this morning that contracts have been exchanged with Chris Kirchner & they’re aiming for a completion date on or before the 31st of May. Kirchner also now funding the club. Exchange of contracts still conditional on sale of stadium and EFL approval
