More than a week after the supreme court's ruling, we still can't spend the old notes. Shop owners, keke & okada riders, restaurants & bars, etc not collecting them, but that's the only thing the banks are giving across the counter.

I have a first hand experience on this; the entire thing is scam that benefits only industrialized nations. If @rosenthal_jon thinks it is a bad idea, fair enough. Go elsewhere and buy. IF, US, CHINA, BRITAIN etc can set the prices of their own products, allow Ghana to do same.

@DrJoeAbah It was a big problem overhere too. Then they passed a law that made it a crime to buy them. Overhere, they were stealing both manhole covers and AC units. With no buyers, the thieving stopped. They can do same in Nigeria. Make it a crime to be caught with one.
