The year was 1923…a new basketball league was announced the Knox County HIgh School Girls Basketball League. Back then there were only 4 teams (Carter, Karns, Farragut and Young). Tuesday that tradition continues as the Carter Lady Hornets open the 2020 season at South-Doyle!
