@SK_FCBayern
His all-round game is fantastic. His holdup play, linkup play, creativity, intelligence, and movement is exceptional (arguably the best in Serie A). He just needs to work on his box-movement and clinicality in front of goal. It’s the only thing that missing in his game.
@Izu24_
Goals conceded is largely irrelevant when gauging a goalkeeper’s shot-stopping ability because it doesn’t account for poor box defending, defensive setup, or individual errors.
You can only make an argument of Audero being at fault for one of those goals. Otherwise, he’s been ok
@N0S41
If Bologna make Europe, he’d be perfect for their project.
Roma could be a decent destination if they don’t renew the loan deals for their midfielders.
Brighton is the only realistic fit from the prem. He’d be a solid upgrade on Gilmour and Dahoud.
@N0S41
Not a chance. I see him either moving to one of the Serie A teams that finish just outside top 6 or he makes the jump to Prem. Unless he fails to get good offers, then that’s the only way I see him staying at Sassuolo.
@Izu24_
Heavily disagree. Rewatch the goals. Inter defended poorly in all of them. Look at Bologna for example.
1st goal he jumps to punch the ball away & when he shifts back none of our defenders had closed down Beukema.
2nd goal, Acerbi jumps & none of our players tracked Ndoye’s run
@FootballLoungee
He has taken his game to a different level this season.
There should be a lot of interest from various Serie A clubs come June.
I will make more comps of Tessmann, because some USMNT fans seem unconvinced.
@Izu24_
Only goal where his positioning was bad was the first goal against Benfica. The second goal it was Asllani’s mistake. Once the ball ricocheted off Bisseck, Joao Mario wasn’t missing from there. Third goal, there was miscommunication with Bisseck. Even lashes out at him because
@Izu24_
Your avoiding the root problem of all those goals.
“Poor shot-stopping” in this instance is a scapegoat to extricate defensive responsibility from our defenders — who were terrible in defending the leadup to those goals.
