Don't want to get carried away here but I've just watched 10 minutes of Ben Doak against AC Milan and he looks nailed on to become Scotland's best attacking player in a long, long time.
If it's true that Aberdeen players have breached protocols then SPFL can't just postpone and stop at that. Too many ramifications for St Johnstone and the League as a whole. This isn't a hard luck story for Aberdeen.
I've just seen the footage of the Ryan Jack yellow. Unfathomable that Collum can decide that isn't a red. You can even see the rage in Jack's face. Red all day long. Properly nasty challenge.
The team selection sums Clarke up for me. The whole premise of 3 CBs was to solve the Robertson/Tierney issue. Tierney out, the need to win and bang average opposition should = a back 4 and an attacking set-up.
Sensational twist to Kevin Nisbet story. Hearts made last minute attempt to get him but he turned them down despite offer of bigger wages and will still sign for Hibs 👇

You'll never see another St Johnstone footballer pack as much into two years as this lad. What a man. Legendary status isn't normally achieved in 24 months
Things happen fast in football but this was a new one on me. Spoke with Craig Levein at around 1 o'clock, talking goalie coaches and red cards, without a hint of what was to come.
First column by

since the Olympics. The curling season didn't begin and end at PyeongChang. Plenty of big events left, starting with Perth this weekend....
Forget VAR - David Munro needs to be taken off a few games for failing to stop play after the worst clash of heads I've seen in a long time. Disgraceful. Looking straight at it.
Theo Bair set to sign for St Johnstone on a 2.5 year deal. A real statement of intent by the club. Signing of a Canadian international of MLS pedigree that will surely excite supporters ⬇️⬇️⬇️
McDiarmid Park has seen some brilliant and crucial goals over the years but that winner from
@Callum_Hendry
is up there with the best of them (and the biggest) ⭐️👏
Zander deserved a Scotland cap last season. And the season before. And the season before that. He's not a better goalkeeper because he's Craig Gordon's Hearts successor.
No press from this part of the country getting to the game tomorrow and no link provided to watch it. Don't think Celtic can stop us writing a preview, though ⬇️⬇️
You couldn't find a club further removed from the sugar daddy club model than Geoff Brown's St Johnstone. The level of seethe on here tonight has been quite something.
You won't find another podcast that starts with Claudio Caniggia and ends with Osman Sow. Plenty of United and Saints chat in the middle. Podcast with

manager Derek McInnes says you "don't go over the door if you lose a game to Rangers" if you're a Dons player.
He's been speaking to the media after eight players went to a bar on Saturday night - breaching football's coronavirus protocols.
All fans can be guilty of not seeing the bigger picture at times but if ever there was a night that showed St Johnstone supporters why they should be grateful for what they've got it was last night. Can never see them going down as long as Tommy Wright is in charge.
Congrats to Dundee United and Raith Rovers. Two clubs on our patch with a lot of good people working for them. None of the farcical elements of all this have been their fault.
Huge win for Saints. 10 points clear of United. Crazy winner for Stevie May and they were dropping too deep at points but the centre-backs won header after header. That's as animated Callum Davidson has been for a long time at full-time in front of 1,500 Saints fans.
Danny McNamara has to be the best Premiership signing of the season. What a find. Was a minor dip around Livi away but has responded brilliantly. If he was Scottish I'd be saying 'call him up'
Tommy Wright leaving - not NI job, not any other job in fact, not because of anything to do with the coronavirus lay-off, not because of any financial issues at St Johnstone. The Tommy/Saints marriage had run its course.
The Troops are on their way. SAS, FKTS, Perth, Arctic, Rock and A90 all pictured. A real planes, trains and automobiles trip today. Safe journey to every single one of you. 🧡
Happy Airdrie Day
@StJohnstone
fans. Time to dig this out again. An afternoon that will never be topped as long as football is played at McDiarmid, I suspect ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I do think the talk of the Robbie Neilson/Tony Asghar thing has been allowed to grow arms and legs. You don't come on to our podcast together (just a couple of weeks ago) if the working relationship is breaking down.
The East Stand linesman more culpable than the ref for allowing the Aberdeen goal to stand. Had a far clearer view. If he can't spot something as blatant as that he's got no place in the professional game
FT. Saints made it harder for themselves than it should have been but that's a superb 2-1 away win. Played some great stuff at times and what about Stevie May!
Saw folk moaning about not having a panel of Scottish pundits last night. They wouldn't have got to the point as quickly and effectively (or at all) like Roy Keane.
A classy statement from Eve. We've certainly been proud to have her at the Courier as a columnist for nearly 9 years now, and to have sponsored
@Team_Muirhead
for a few of those years. Eve will have more to say in tomorrow's paper.....
I suspect had he been available even a month earlier than he was, Saints would have been clear of the play-off place before the last day. In the top five most important players at McDiarmid imo.
I'll be very disappointed if
@MidgeyMillar
doesn't currently have his cup final suit back on and is starting four days on the drink to mark today's achievement 😁🍻
Graham Dorrans getting closer to full match sharpness had been a game-changer. United don't have a player with an eye for a pass of that class. Mind you, neither do a few top flight sides.
It's been up for sale for a long time but there's no getting away from the fact this feels very real now. And Geoff Brown, for the millionth time, has shown what a remarkable custodian of St Johnstone FC he has been.
So Derek Ferguson won't be happy that his son has scored a goal, possibly the winner, in a cup semi final, according to Rob MacLean. Ridiculous comment.
He had a £5m price tag not that long ago and was close to getting in the Welsh squad for the last Euros. At 23, Luke Jephcott could be one of those 'getting his mojo back in Perth' signings that the club's modern-day success has been built on.
