The Turnbull Govt is spending billions to try and paper over the holes it has hacked in our public services. We can't fix this with expensive consultants - we need public servants to run public services.
The Government cannot ignore the lines outside Centrelink while the health advice is to stay home and socially distance.
At the peak of the pandemic last year the Government upgraded online access and CPSU members are calling for this to occur again.
The queue at Fairfield Centrelink has been like this every day since lockdown started. It goes down the street and around the corner.
