Another thing about Grant Napear that I haven't seen brought up is when back in 2014, the Kings players had a peaceful protest by wearing "I CAN'T BREATHE" shirts during warmups before a TNT game. Grant would go on to say that the players should not be protesting "at work."

So. SNL did not "roast" the Kings last night. It was an NBA skit that just featured the Kings. You could plug any team into the script and it would have been exactly the same. It was all in good fun! I think it was cool that SNL bought all that Kings gear and featured us 🤷‍♂️

Other Team Store tidbits There is already a lot of gear with the new Kings script logo As of July 1st, the Team Store is no longer associated with Fanatics and is back under in-house control by the Kings, which will include the return of online ordering for pick-up at the store
