Starting off the New Year filling in on the early newscasts tonight! It didn’t snow as much as initially predicted, but we did get that freezing rain. And, with these frigid temperatures, the treatments on the roads aren’t as effective. So, it’s still a good idea to stay home!

This weekend my vball girls won, the Chiefs won, I miraculously finished my Xmas shopping, and I got a couple nice long runs in (thank you @MikeNiccoKSHB41 for the great running weather today!) Not too shabby!

I’m so glad we were finally in town and able to attend this years Guns n’ Hoses, the boxing fundraiser between police and firefighters raising money for families of first responders killed in the line of duty. A great event for an important cause.

The Chiefs are on the field warming up. That’s Travis in the lower middle. Even up here you can spot him by his big, yellow shoes. I looked up his shoe size, and he wears between size 14 and 15, and apparently loves sneakers as much as @kholmesKSHB !
