We’ve added additional pedestrian detection to crossings on Nantwich Rd, Crewe. The new system allows users to trigger the light sensor by holding their hand under the box, instead of pressing a button. This technology will be useful for those with disabilities & reduced movement

Following the upgrade of the traffic signals on Dunwoody Way in Crewe, we've donated the old signals to a local nursery. The push buttons will help teach young children how to cross a road safely, by showing how to stop and wait at a crossing until the lights say otherwise👷♻️

As part of our B5470 Hurdsfield Road/Black Lane scheme we recycled the old pedestrian zebra crossing buttons by installing them at a local nursery
The push buttons will teach the young children how to cross a road safely & reduces waste from the site! 🚸
