The ASLA held it’s awards ceremony today at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Riverview High students Mark Bellefontaine & Aidan Connors scored in the top ten in a pool of 600 grade nine students. What an amazing accomplishment for these students - congratulations & well done!

Two lead ECE educators from St. Anne’s drove (separately 👍🏻) to a pre-primary child’s street with signs and sang happy birthday (from a distance) to make sure he knew they didn’t forget his birthday - how awesome is that!

The cafeteria staff at Sydney Academy made a cookie decorating station for the Learning Centre students and did it with their own money. So kind and generous - so much kindness shown to our students.
This Friday, Sept. 28 is Orange Shirt Day in CBVRCE - Wear orange to honour residential school survivors, remember those who were lost, and recognize the impact of Canada's residential school system on Indigenous people.
