Seeing how competitive charts are these days, my respect for BIGBANG grows by the day. Who would dare release a song at midnight only to disappear after? Not bothering to promote or perform but STILL set records. Their music does all the heavy lifting. Always has. For years.

They had so many powerful vocalists and even those who weren't vocally strong can actually carry a tune. They weren't awful.

Honestly, what drew me to kpop wasn't the choreography. Sure it has its appeal esp the hook parts, but when I fell for BIGBANG, choreo was the last thing that piqued my interest about them. It was the music & their top-notch stage presence w/c makes their live perfs stand out.
