As the day's marched on, I'm more and more convinced the #Bears got it 100% right with Matt Eberflus. He'll build the offensive staff the old-fashioned way: a good OC and QB coach. Matt Nagy couldn't get out of his own way. Now, with Eberflus, Chicago won't have that problem.

I'm old enough to remember when former GMs thought the Bears should trade Fields and use the No. 1 on Bryce Young. Instead, Poles leveraged the No. 1 to BUILD AROUND Fields, trading for a true go-to WR. I guess hot take season is over. THANK GOD!

I try to maintain realistic expectations for the #DaBears every year. I’m always optimistic, but I try to be realistic too. With that in mind, the Bears will win 11+ games this year. A maturing QB. Upgraded OL and WR group. Upgrades at LB and CB. Depth and upside along DL.
