Ohio in person early voting is a joke. Each county is only allowed 1 early vote location. Franklin County, population of greater than 1.3m, has the same number of early voting locations as Vinton County, whose population is a bit shy of 13k.

One big criticism of the Obama Democratic party is that it went limp during non presidential elections. After 2014 the Democratic party was at its worst spot since the 1920s in terms of legislative control. As of 2023 Ds have the most trifeftas since 2009.

But Hobbs only won Latino voters by four points (51-47%), a huge dropoff from Sinema's 40-point margin of victory with Hispanics in 2018. (The AP/NORC exit poll doesn't show quite the dramatic dropoff, but it's still substantial -- Dem margin down 23 pts with Hispanics)
