Why Michael Jordan fans respectfully disagree with @KingJames , although Michael Jordan himself refuses to make the same claim. There are many more factoids & reasons, but we had to stop somewhere. A thread... (Thread summarized in photos also.)

How great was Michael Jordan? During the title years (91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98) The Bulls were 19-6 in games where Pippen failed to score 10 points. The Bulls were 78-26 in games where Pippen failed to score 15 points. GOAT's don't constantly "need more help", they are the help.

Collusion & roster resets will never equal the leadership of someone who builds on court chemistry with a team, and is able to SUSTAIN that dominance for repeat three-peats (MJ). The real story here is how LeBron's "system" is a complete failure outside of a lop-sided roster.

The biggest problem is most games LOOK uncompetitive. It's not just the rules either, it's motivations or lack thereof from many players. Fans care about winning more than many players. NBA's become too visually soft & lazy. Live games draw low #'s because it's boring to many.

3-Peat Title Runs: Michael Jordan - 2 LeBron - 0 Bonus: Karl Malone (36,928pts) also not greater than Kobe (33,643pts) & Jordan (32,292pts) (Kobe was better than LeBron as well in many of our opinions.)

Game 7, 1990 Eastern Conference Finals. Bulls have taken Pistons to 7 games. If Bulls win game 7 it's Jordan vs Drexler in 1990. (Bet on Jordan). Irrefutable evidence that Michael Jordan's early career supporting cast was the most effective championship deterrent in his career.

If I was a younger NBA fan, new to the league, I'd probably look back at those low scoring 90's and early 00's box scores & not be interested in watching low scoring games. Here's the thing, they had the opposite effect that high scoring games do...

All this bigger faster stronger crap, but aren't Luka Doncic & Nikola Jokic ripping up the NBA, and aren't they 2 of the least athletic stars in the game's history? But Jordan wouldn't fry today's NBA? Give me a break. (Pictured below is MJ's avg as a Bulls player).

For years Corporate America's catchphrase for LeBron was "makes any team an instant title contender" but by playoff time that turns to "he needs more help." LeBron himself, no problem with LeBron, he is a LEGEND. The media however, are you kidding me? LeBron coverage is a JOKE.

When LeBron passes Kareem I wonder if his athletic authenticity will face the same scrutiny Barry Bonds did. 98% of the NBA media is a propaganda machine for him, so you doubt it, but wouldn't be surprised to see that come in to question.

Younger LeBron fans should justifiably feel like us Kobe & Jordan fans "hate" on LeBron when we kind of yawn at the longevity stuff. He capped his ceiling with a lot of us w/ all the roster resets, All-Star teammate resets, multiple choke jobs, not wanting the shot, etc.

He's only the head coach of the most underrated defensive team in NBA history, 96 Sonics, but what would he know, right? That 96 Sonics team was 2nd in the NBA that year, with defensive rating, to who? Bulls/Jordan, who was still an elite defender as well. Elite D & a 40pt TD

Anyone who is debating Michael’s GOAT status doesn’t realize he would average a 40 PPG triple double in the modern game!

Michael Jordan averaged an NBA record 33.45ppg in the NBA Playoffs. Jordan was the most lethal & clutch playoff scorer of all time.... but.... How many NBA Playoff Games was Michael Jordan outscored in? Jordan was outscored by his individual opponents in 30 out of 179 Playoff

Haven't watched a WWE show since SummerSlam 2019. However, WWF gave us fans tons of great memories. From a NYC territory to 6+ billion dollars. Incredible. Hulkamania Rock n Wrestling era & the Attitude Era were the only eras to consistently go up in popularity. Amazing run!

In my opinion all the roster resets make LeBron look worse. He's had 8 billion All Star teammates and still hasn't caught Kobe or Jordan in rings.

When LeBron James makes a pit stop with your favorite franchise, he'll ensure there are no draft picks left when he leaves. It's unreal how the Cavs (2x's), Heat, and Lakers don't get their just due for throwing every available asset in to LeBron's hand picked fantasy rosters.

Hard to overlook that Jordan & Kobe inspired their teammates to BECOME champions. You've heard all the stories, and yes in some cases they produced better results from a teammate by intimidation. Kobe even held Shaq accountable for not working out. They drove inspiration.
