You know it’s a bad system when there are zero @NorthwestConf schools ranked in the West region! Especially this year! The wSOS is flawed and it punishes our conference because we are geographically isolated compared to the rest of D3 and we beat each other up every year.

Creating training environments that are just beyond your athletes skill level is not easy, especially with a large team with varying levels of ability. As a coach it’s inevitable that you’re going to miss the mark sometimes. Communication is 🔑 and admitting you messed up helps.

NAIA rules > NCAA Rules - re-entry allows coaches to play more student-athletes - run for pitcher/catcher speeds game up and involves more student-athletes, + health benefit for P/C - faster, more athletic games, more fun to play and watch. Plus adds an element of strategy.
