Good morning everyone. Not a remarkable photograph, but 56098 failed on the Chirk logs at Whalley yesterday teatime, reported as having low power. The train arrived at Blackburn somewhere around 01.50 this morning. It's currently sat here, not going anywhere soon! 🙄

Good morning everyone. WCRC 37706/37676 'give it plenty' as they make mincemeat of the 1 in 80 gradient at Langho with the return Pendle Dalesman, 12/7/2022. The locos worked the tour throughout, due to the failure of 35018 'British India Line'. Stay safe all 👍

Good morning everyone. Padiham Power Station was another casualty of closure in the summer of 94, and the remaining coal stockpile was railed out, most of it to Rugeley PS. 60047 'Robert Owen' brings a rake of loaded MGRs up the branch towards Rose Grove. Stay safe and warm all!
