🚨 PASSION PROJECT ALERT 🚨 A few months ago, I got inspired thinking about ways to pay tribute to the different VALORANT maps. I wanted to create a kickass poster series where they were the main characters. After countless near-sleepless nights these babies were born.
I had the pleasure of working with
@Sukeart
on the visual design for our Ep3 launch key art. This was a super fun collaborative project and something I've always dreamed of being apart of! 🥰 Enjoy these 4k wallpapers!
Absolutely loved working on the Gekko visual design, with such an expressive and stylish agent - the design needed to match, hope ya'll like it!
@Sukeart
is crazy for this one.
Chamber is almost here! Super proud to be apart of this launch. It's a minor design exercise but I really enjoy exploring thumbnails for these reveals - what's your favorite?
My approach wasn't to make them 1:1, but instead capture the unique aesthetic of each—highlighting the best, most iconic elements in a “collaged” form.
Special thanks to
@_Sarand
for the agent posing. Absolute legend.
Thrilled to design and art direct custom VALORANT agent-themed controllers for console announce! 🎮 Limited editions for top influencers and content creators. Loved the challenge of bringing agent aesthetics to life in new forms. 💥🤖
VALORANT launch site and brand bible from 2020. Both have been updated and gone through a few iterations since, but I think they still hold up! Need to do a proper case study one of these days.
Don't think I ever shared the Deadlock type treatment I explored for her launch. One version explored the power fantasy while the other was more lore driven.
Slap this on your computer and be cool.
Special shout out to
@Sukeart
on the illustration and my boss Seb from
@123klan
for just being awesome and helping me push the color on this one. 🙏

I know a lot of you follow me for VALORANT - but in 2013, after working in advertising for a few years, I tried some fan art for a game that deeply moved and inspired me. It was this work that propelled me into the game industry.

Super fun project getting to design these 'fake' comic covers for VALORANT. Honestly, still can't believe I got to design a cover with the legend
@JimLee
(LEGION) truly an honor. We used them in the launch cinematic, in-game on pearl and player cards!
Had the opportunity to design a mural at Champs. Goal was to showcase the 'Road to LA' highlighting all the behind the scenes art from our amazing artist and devs. Never done anything like it - super fun!
Ya'll ever notice the combined key arts for champs and 9-1? It's game and sport in a head on collision - a supernova if you will. BUT! It also forms an hourglass shape... 🤯
VALORANT 2021. LET'S GOOOO! Here's a poster I made based off our latest CG trailer. I've always wanted to do movie posters and this felt like the perfect opportunity to flex some of those skills. Hope you guys like it!

Explored a few other versions utilizing his type treatment with new illustrations. I don't think this one was ever released, but thought it came out pretty cool.
Aside from creating the poster for the VALORANT CG, "WARM UP" I also got to help out with some visual design within the CG as well. Here are some of those shots, so much fun being apart of this process. 🥰
We challenged Senior Principal Illustrator
@BrandonMeier
and Principal Visual Designer
@SuKeArt
from the
@VALORANT
team to a unique design challenge as they share their design process and advise aspiring designers on the latest Super Art Power Hour episode. Watch now:
Thrilled with our art direction for Episode 9 // Act I: COLLISION! Released two months before Champs and the Vyse reveal, it teased what was coming with the supernova identity and Vyse’s iconic vines. Illustration:

Creative leader pro-tip: Just because you CAN give feedback, doesn’t mean you HAVE to. When feedback feels forced, ungrounded and random - it can seem like you’re grasping to retain power and voice. Lift your people up when you can. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. Kk bye.
