Reinstating Jones is the last straw. What little I’ve kept posting here is done. @elonmusk is a lost cause. He has zero integrity and there’s no reason anyone should trust him or support what he’s done to Twitter.

@elonmusk @StationCDRKelly “Forcing your pronouns upon others” - what the frack does this even mean? Nobody is forcing anything on anyone. Respecting people’s choice of pronouns is just a nice thing to do. It costs you nothing and shows respect for your fellow humans. Nobody is “ostracized” by this.

@DylanAusherman @elonmusk @StationCDRKelly You don’t have to use any pronouns. Deliberately misgendering someone isn’t just about pronouns, you can do it without using them, and it’s still just as hateful.

@AngelycAries @Awesome_fan_007 @fiImkid @zoesaldana By “talking about” you mean telling a few bad, distasteful *jokes* as a comedian trying to shock people, yes? 1. Anonymous Twitter users have weaponized @CommunityNotes and are using the feature to try to discredit COMPLETELY ACCURATE INFORMATION The people writing these "Community Notes" are remarkably uninformed about the topics they weigh in on It happened to me yesterday 🧵

@andrewm56705022 @abtinjon @steph93065 @realDonaldTrump @foxandfriends It was on a small sample of them and on some ACS (annual surveys), but in general was not there. It is correct that it hasn’t been asked broadly as part of a ten year census since 1950.

This is of course not at all true, and I think we’ve proven this at Microsoft. There *are* trade-offs with remote or hybrid setups, and sometimes there are advantages to going into the office (even 1-2 days a week), but these claims are just wrong - and frankly, insulting.

It’s time to admit that Remote Work doesn’t work. WFH Friday is a 4 day work week. Full WFH is a 2 day work week. Every interaction has to be scheduled, which means a lot of information-sharing doesn’t happen. Remote is a great lifestyle, not a way to build a great company.
