Can we please stop comparing every incident to whether or not Dale Earnhardt would/wouldn't have done something similar? Just bc he did drive aggressively at times doesn't make it ok for all drivers to make bonehead moves. Dale had finesse & skill, but also made mistakes too.

Fun story: RP left the track early on Sunday, everyone was wondering where he was and why he wasn’t in VL. When asked about it, he said he was glad he wasn’t there because he wouldn’t have wanted to take any focus away from Erik, Dave, and the entire team that made it happen.

The Southern 500 is so special. Two years ago, I got to visit victory lane with Erik Jones at a time no one thought the 43 car could win. Tonight, Chase Briscoe puts an SHR car in the playoffs with a win at such a tough time. Love Darlington, love this race.
