The Doctor came in to tell us that the cysts he saw on the brain of our first baby’s x-rays moved him to recommend we terminate the pregnancy. We emphatically said no. We prayed. That baby is graduating tmrw as a Nurse. Next month she starts her new job. In Labor and Delivery.

Finally got to have Anniversary dinner with Stephanie tonight. Great meal. Enjoyed reflecting on one daughter’s wedding, one daughter’s 16th birthday and 27 years of marriage and ministry together. The Lord has sustained and been gracious.

Christianity Today is a compromised shell of what it once was. And where it is today is exactly where the Southern Baptist Convention was headed until thousands of Southern Baptist pastors and churches began to stand up and fight for Biblical truth. We must continue to stand.

Stephanie and I were sorry to have left Birmingham and #SBC19 early but we are grateful for God protecting our daughter in a severe crash. She is home and doing well. Thank you Southern Baptist’s for the privilege to serve on COB and to COB members for their prayers and support.

Unity is powerful. In the life of a church, a nation, or a denomination. To have real unity though requires standing for truth and principles even at the expense of being labeled divisive. Praying God raises up a generation who value unity based upon truth, clarity, conviction.

Unbelievable decision by Supreme Court today. God’s ways are right, true and perfect. No court of Judges can ever overturn or redefine God’s perfect design. Praying we will stand stronger than ever for the cause of Christ and live w courage and conviction amidst our generation.
