If the CFL powers that be are seriously considering going to 4 downs, they should have their heads read. Whatever changes need to be made to increase interest in our game, going to 4 downs would alienate the CFL’s still sizeable fan base in a way you don’t even want to imagine.

Here’s my problem with the CFL talking about reducing the number of starting Cdns. IT WON’T MAKE THE GAME ANY BETTER!! The 7 starting Cdns on each team are all good players, lot of them are fan favorites. Whatever is wrong with the CFL, it has nothing to do with 7 CDN starters.

Bombers had everything stacked against them, on the road, more injuries, less prep-time, in the midst of a gruelling sked, revenge motive for Calgary, & still Winnipeg found a way to win 35-28. Collaros was brilliant, so we’re Demski, Oliviera, Schoen, etc, O-line. Bombers 8-0.

I am stunned that the CFL only waited an hour in a lightning delay in Montreal, then declared Sask a 17-10 winner with 18 mins. still left to play. 1st time in CFL history a winner was declared without a game being completed. Only an hour, why not 90 Mins, 2 hrs? Unbelievable

My position on Andrew Harris—I know how hard he trains, how dedicated he is and I refuse to believe he would risk tarnishing his image and legacy by knowingly taking steroids. Virtually all players use supplements and it’s entirely believable one could be contaminated.

Looks like Zach Collaros & the Bombers got tired of hearing how good Rourke & the Lions were. Wpg 43 BC 22, Wpg 5-0. Bombers win the turnover battle 4-0 which is their modus operendi, Collaros was SENSATIONAL, he’s now 22-2 in his Bomber career, Wpg has won 22 of last 25.

Grew up in Regina with the radio as my best friend. Was thrilled to earn $200 a month at a 500-watt CJSL in Estevan in 1969. Off to CKX in Bdn. In 1970 and Lucky to get hired at the great 680 CJOB in 1972. Nearly 50 years later I still get a buzz every time I go on the RADIO.

I could stop knocking TSN but they make it so easy. Watched the entire hour long sports center Fri.morning. Lots of NHL, NFL & baseball, only a TOKEN mention of the CFL, their prime property, in the FINAL MINUTE of the show even with 2 key CFL games Fri night. On TSN. Pathetic.

11pm, I’m suffering the horror of Wpg ER wait times. Concerned about a possible blood clot in my leg. Over 2 hrs so far at Grace. An older woman in pain has been here 3 hrs. Giving it 1 more hour, then I’m going home. Have advised my wife to sue if I die from a clot. Seriously

If the CFL did a detailed 3-month investigation and found enough EVIDENCE to suspend Chad Kelly for 9 games, how in Gods name do the Argos and the CFL allow him to be on the field with the team today?? Are the moral compasses all malfunctioning?? Pinball, what’s going on??

The promoter of tonites NFL preseason game in Wpg clearly had no idea how shrewd and sophisticated Wpg’ers are when it comes to spending their money. Given the ridiculous prices a crowd of 20,000 is a tribute to our community, not a condemnation.
