I’ve been watching my boys play youth basketball. I can’t help but feel sorry for some of the bigger talented kids I’ve seen. Sit in the middle of a 2-3 zone and the low block on offense. Then I see them leave with a 5’9 dad and a 5’3 mom. Sad, sad, sad. #plzseebigpicture

It’s not Girls or Boys Basketball that’s boring. It’s the way the game is officiated that makes it boring. Hand checks, mystery block fouls. Lots of athletes in this game that aren’t allowed to be athletes.

This is extremely important. We always closely monitor AAU schedules and adjust what we do with HS athletes. I have coached both and often have the same schedule as the kids. It’s vital to give kids rest days or adjust what they are doing in order to prevent injury.
