So the employee pays for their own facilities, electricity, water etc whilst the employer makes a saving on providing office space & facilities, but the employee should pay extra for that? This seems to be the conclusion of the strategists after their navel gazing. Nonsense.
@BlackpoolFC
Well done
@Jake_Daniels11
from a Birmingham fan for stepping out and doing this. It shouldn't be a big thing but it is in today's game. Hope this helps others to feel more comfortable to do so too.
@GFFN
Because as corrupt as FIFA remain, they've banned his activities before & are looking to do some good to limit the role of agents which would reduce Raiola's earning potential. It's all about greed & retribution for Raiola. He's not interested in improving football governance.
One thing I learned from the Athletic article on Blues today is that Harlee Dean is on £23k per week, so we are covering some of his wages at Sheff Wed. And that Maxime Colin is on even more. Dates back to the splurge of 2017. Plus Roberts & Friend took pay cuts to renew.
#BCFC
@martynziegler
If they want to be in a closed super league that ignores sporting merit, then they can sod off & do so. But they can't expect to play in the domestic league nor allowed back if it doesn't work out. Chuck them out the league and let them get on with it. Bored with their threats.
@pmak27
Or perhaps they could suggest they retrospectively charge Leeds an extra £10m for lending them a potential £50m centre-back that helped Leeds get promoted. Maybe just call it quits? I think all parties did quite well out of that loan anyhow.

They can't register Kounde yet because they need to recoup money first, probably from Aubameyang. How are they going to get enough together for Bernardo Silva? - can only see it if De Jong goes.
@PurelyFootball
No he didn't - you've believed an embellished story from the internet. The picture is from 2019 involving Xu Guangnan the (32 yr old) owner of 3rd tier Jilin Baijia, who are now defunct. A 35 yr old shareholder He Shihua did play for Zibo Cuju recently though. No son involved.
@BloozExtra
@BCFC
We're doing it just at the point when the Brentford style model is being disrupted by Brexit. The cheap foreign talents they identify & sign will struggle to get a work-permit now. Complete about-turn from a few months ago suggests some muddled thinking too. Not convinced myself.
Paul Cook was some fans' choice for Blues' next manager when Karanka was in position. I think he's a decent manager & wouldn't have minded him. But he's had a slow start at Ipswich, winning just 2 of 10 games in League One. I think we've found a better fit for us with Lee Bowyer.
@BCFC
@BVB
This is Dong's idea. Reflects his relief at the Bellingham transfer getting him out of the financial hole Dong created. Tinpot as hell & embarrassing. Club keep on celebrating the transfer like we've won the league. Best of luck to Jude & no reflection on him but this is wrong

Ceferin is even godfather to Agnelli's daughter. Agnelli has lied to Ceferin and seems to have effectively stabbed him in the back. Some dirty politics right there.

Ivan on Instagram:
Looks like sought-after Blues youngster Trevan Sanusi has now confirmed (on Instagram) that he's joined Newcastle. Unfortunate that he's chosen to move on and he's taking the risk to leave an environment in which he's been thriving. We'll continue with players who want be here.
@BCFC
£2m transfer fee plus his salary completely squandered, without any real return. Our recruitment is thankfully much better now. Best that both parties seperate and move on.
@FabrizioRomano
Something very Udinese/Watford about that transfer. Why would Forest sign a 29 year old that was at a Ligue1 club last season to send out on loan to Olympiakos. It’s not like they’re sending a youngster away to get experience. Seems dodgy.
@PainterKev561
@metoffice
On the contrary, it’s exactly what you would expect as a result of adverse climate change - more extreme/unusual weather than normal.
@BluesFocus
Of course we should. He’s a Birmingham City player. As supporters, we should get behind him, give encouragement and place trust in Lee Bowyer’s to determine whether he can make a sufficiently positive impact to the team and improve his effectiveness.
@sportbible
These stand out for me, possibly in this order:
Ukraine - Russia (especially going forward)
Armenia - Azerbaijan
Red Star - Partizan Belgrade
Boca Juniors - River Plate
Celtic - Rangers
And in just England; Blues - Villa.

The Spanish FA and the Spanish players association oppose this game including the ones you list. The Spanish fans don't want this. Your statements are erroneous and embarrassing. It's NOT good for fans and it's NOT good for the game. Go and support

They are probably hoping that increased usage will offset some of the shortfall. But whatever the answer, the maximum single journey bus fare in London is £1.65(just gone up). A £2 cap should be achievable in Manchester and other UK cities.
@danielstorey85
I'd also say that so far VAR hasn't noticeably impacted the flow games adversely or signficantly. Shows how badly it is implemented in the Premier league in contrast.
He Shihua, the enterpreneur-cum-player of Zibo Cuju, who was substituted in No. 10 in a CL1 match on Tuesday(left), is not the 1st club shareholder featuring in Chinese professional league. In 2019, Xu Guangnan, a shareholder of Jilin Baijia, played in CL2 donning No.7(right).
@Matt_Law_DT
Given it is your measure of readiness; how many times has James Maddison completed 90 minutes this season? (The answer is one, just like Bellingham). He also played regularly in the Championship last season, just like Kalvin Phillips who was called up before playing a PL game.🤔

As a Birmingham fan I stand with Nathan Thompson. Racism has no place in football nor society. This incident today is the antithesis of what our club and our support is about. The two individuals arrested deserve the criminal convictions and lifetime bans coming to them.
@thegoalzone
Honestly, Bowyers's better off out of it especially if he's not wanted by the current or future owners. There's pro's and con's to how he managed Blues, but whatever your thoughts, he was given false promises continually and not dealt a fair hand. Tough job for anyone.
@Neil_Moxley
Hard to draw conclusions Neil, without a bit more detail or context. I assume you deliberately held back on sharing more for good reasons. It does mean that those reading your tweet can only speculate though, of which there is often too much on this platform.

Well done lads. Hope you you kick on and go on to be first team players in the future. It's obviously a big moment for you to sign these contracts. Ignore some of the comments on here, it's just fans annoyed and frustrated at the club, no reflection on you and your achievement

Well we know for definite now that he’s a South American international who can do just as well on a wet, cold Wednesday in Stoke as he can in the Rio de Janeiro sunshine.

Ultimately, Paderborn are a decent Bundesliga-2 side and we've put out a patched together side for a friendly. Davies will now have a clearer picture of the work in front of him and that a lot of new players are still needed to get to create the level of team we need this season
@BCFC
Things are changing massively since Dong went & it feels positive. Huge mistakes have been made in the past that continue to cost the club. I'm willing to give the owners a chance to get it right now. But they must. They have to have learnt, earn trust & make no more big mistakes
@musteia
@UniqueRiggers
Defender touches the ball and changes its direction = tackle. Brighton player very lightly touches Trezeguet whilst doing so, who then simulates a dive as though both his legs have been scythed away. Referee makes correct decision.
Much was said about Group F including France, Germany & Portugal being the 'Group of Death'. Well, they're all dead before the quarter-finals. ☠️

Even if Pogba does leave, how can Raiola possibly think making those comments at this point are beneficial to his client. Raiola's just interested in adding disharmony to accelerate any transfer that fills Raiola's pockets.

Disgusted by this. Just further emphasises the woeful mismanagement by the current administration, led by Xuandong Ren. He needs to leave this club asap.

Three Lions is intended to be a song of hope, written when hosting the tournament. It is one of optimism, against a backdrop of constant failure since 1966. It is intended to be a self-deprecating lament at how it always ends in shattered dreams, but that we still retain belief.

The men and women’s England national teams already have pay parity for representing their country, since early 2020. It’s at clubs that they don’t currently but that’s down to market forces, so more people need to get down supporting their local women’s team in WSL or similar.
@adamsummerton
In Italy (e.g.Serie B) if the gap between the top team in the playoff spots & the rest is 15 points or more they promote them automatically & don't bother with the lottery of the playoffs. Less fun maybe but perhaps fairer & feels like that could be worthy of future consideration
@IanMitchelmore
Swansea have robbed QPR there. Out of contract at the end of the season but had some Premier league clubs taking a look for a reason. Might have lost Rodon but Swansea have done some business today.

So, is ‘Yorkshire Yorkshire’ trying to headbutt someone from behind, hurting only yourself, holding your head & crying to the ref that you’re the injured party & then getting yourself a 3 match ban as a result? Not sure being a dim soft crybaby cheat is a good look for Yorkshire.
@profanityswan
Well, as well as having played the game at a high level in Women's football they appear to have done research and ensured they know the teams they are talking about. Too many of the male pundits are lazy ex-players who seem to rely solely on having played a bit in the past.

No chance. It's mostly about the hair with him. That'll only take him so far. There's some others in this competition that look like they've been playing for FC Chernobyl.
Almeria, whom Fran Villalba is on loan at, lost their playoff first leg 3-0 last night to Girona. Assuming there's not a big turn around, then Fran would seem to be on his way back to Blues, as per Blues Breakdown/Brian Dick below. As least temporarily.
#BCFC
@briandick
reporting a slightly messy situation with Fran Villalba. Almeria have a mandatory purchase clause IF they’re promoted (look destined to make play-offs for a 2nd season in a row) but would NOT look to buy if they’re not promoted. He has 1 yr left on his

More like; he's just seen his side get thumped 5-0 at home and he wants a breather to sort things out before they play again. He wasn't so concerned about Covid-19 exposure when he took on the job only days ago.
@MaddamsDean
We could have got next to nothing if it wasn’t for Jude & his family. Given he’s blossoming we can wonder what if. But we couldn’t come close to what Dortmund were offering him & frankly we’d have held him back given the state of our club. Seemed a fair compromise for all parties
@TwoFourFours
Undoubtedly a bad injury that affected Eduardo but if it ended his career, how did he play over 270 more times in his career afterwards before retiring 10 years later?🤔
@bcfcextra
Seems highly unlikely and Calciomercato are notoriously unreliable - appreciate you're just relaying it. Would be an interesting signing but won't hold my breath.

Fair enough to congratulate Brentford, but I assume Hogan's on his way out of Blues because why else would you think it was ok to say you prefer Brentford to your current club. Even if true it's about as intelligent as letting your partner hear you say that you prefered your ex.
