Kazuhiro Miwa [三輪和宏] being the main action animator of Fire Force means he will most likely animate the most climatic fights throughout the show's run. We can already see some of his animation in the pv and damn, we're in for a treat.

The action in Castlevania has been fantastic so far but this cut is my absolute favorite. The show is very economical when it comes to character/non action animation so I was really surprised by that cut. It made her super badass before the awesome finisher.

Since people asked, here is a side by side comparison between Denzel Curry MV "Cosmic" and various animated sequences (Naruto, Gurren Lagann, Cowboy Bebop, The Legend of Korra, Absolute Duo) These are only the sequences I could identify but the rest should be traced as well.

Great episode of JJK ( #37 ), first time since the premiere where I felt the storyboard and direction were really creative. A double edged sword given the schedule but the sheer coolness makes the episode a highly entertaining one, amazing job from Kazuto Arai and Takumi Sunakohara

Arai confirms that his approach is what caused a lot of issues for the first episode. Might deserve a blog post on its own but he basically gave to the episode a complete pre-production and pipeline of its own, something that is unusual on TV anime.

Today's Jujutsu Kaisen ( #17 ) is directed by Shota Goshozono. A lot of big animators worked on it, should be one of the strongest, if not THE strongest, episode of the show.

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru #01 was a great premiere. The directing carried the more melancholic moment for Gojou while the animation perfectly depicted Marin highly energetic -and cute- personality. She's a lot of fun to watch.

Wonder Egg Priority #03 The episode was already mind-blowing, we just had a great climax with Ai exploring her own feelings. I thought the episode was over and then.. THIS SCENE HAPPENS. I got chills like rarely before, I felt like I was experiencing something magical.

Yasuto Hirohara 廣原寧人 career: Started as a digital inbetweener at David Prod on Hataraku Saibou (2018). Got promoted as 2nd key animator on Jojo GW (2018-19). Then as KA on Fire Force #19 (end of 2019). Now, he's main animator on FF S2. Expect some incredible things from him!

Pre-animated doesn't mean that at all. Most pre-animated PVs represents what you can expect of a show at its very best. And in many cases, the quality of the PV will be unmatched because they entrust a different team for it. Takuji Miyamoto's Dororo being a good example of that.

On another note, really cool to see overseas webgen on the show. Going by the order, they worked on the fight scene between Ushi and Mashu/Quetz. It's no exaggeration to say that fight is amazing. This cut in particular is jaw-dropping.

Mob III PV is hype but it's also a good reminder that II 2nd PV is probably the best TV anime PV ever. S2 content is obviously great to begin with but the editing is incredible and tells its own story. This PV is brilliant in so many ways, I find myself rewatching it regularly.

Dororo #21 Even after replaying the scene 3 times I couldn't believe what I saw. One of the best sword play I've ever seen. The posing and all the subtle movement is unreal, exceptional sequence animated (and rearranged) by Keiichiro Watanabe.

Animation-wise, the highlight is definitely Futoshi Suzuki's scene. He's a god of hair animation on the same level as Megumi Kouno. The tactility when she catches the hair from her mouth, causing it to bounce made an already fantastic scene all the more attractive.

Wow Fire Force is better than expected. One of the biggest quality of this 1st ep is it doesn't stick closely to the manga Look at this scene, there's a real continuity between the cuts and Yase wasn't afraid to create a whole new scene, keeping some ideas and adding new ones.

As expected, Hoshiai no Sora was supposed to have 24 episodes. But around Spring of this year, it was changed to 12 episodes. Since the production had already progressed, it was impossible to change the content and make it fit in 12 episodes so they went with the original plans.

The first episode of Wonder Egg Priority was miles better than expected and I had high expectations! The series covers heavy themes that aren't frequent in anime. Honestly I had the same feeling as watching a Satoshi Kon's movie. Intriguing and fascinating while still being fun.

The new episode of Spy X Family was solely handled (animation direction and key animation) by Cloverworks' in-house recruits. In 2020, Cloverworks hired new recruits that were trained by veteran Yuichi Oka. Each year, new recruits were hired and there are now 6 of them.

Surreal scene in FF S2 #04 animated by Yuuki Yamashita. His use of blender to model the house's interior is already a smart move in itself but he also did an amazing job to convey the speed of the characters. The silhouettes convey dynamism yet they are still highly readable.
