Former all state QB in year 2 of full time baseball. Twitchy athlete that translates to the box. Easy power to all fields and now getting to plus pull side power more often, strong arm from OF, great understanding of the strike zone with good pitch recognition. Rapidly improving.

Just a pure hitter, always on the barrel, middle of the order bat, handles both velo and offspeed without issue, has as much or more juice and carry to the big part of the park than anyone you’ll see at this level, knack for big 2 out hits, high level 1B that takes pride in it.

4 of the first 5 White Sox picked up hits off Guardians starter Triston McKenzie to open the ballgame. An inning double play ended the 1st stranding 2. He settled down to throw 7 innings allowing just 2 more hits punching out 14 with 0 BB. He exits the game in line for the W.

My biggest issue with ground balls. Hard hit ground balls can be hits but it's the 'what could have been' factor that's so frustrating.
