Cameron Velasquez died in an accident driving home from Alfred State yesterday.
We pray for Cam and his family, as well as our students and recent grads, who have now lost two friends and classmates over the last 3 1/2 months.
RIP Paul Fitzpatrick Jr. `99.
Former Assistant Varsity Football coach and son of Paul Fitzpatrick Sr. ‘66. Paul was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011 and a detective in the Buffalo Police Department.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude beat Canisius High School in the Manhattan Cup Championship Game this evening. We will have “No School Tomorrow” Monday, Feb 27th. Since, it has been 20 years since Bishop Timon has won the Manhattan Cup.
The Tigers have landed to New York for the State Championship tomorrow! Thank you to everyone who supported the Free Throw contest and other donations to help make this trip possible. Bring the championship home Timon!
Timon is saddened to report that Chris Panek ‘84 has passed away.
He was Timon’s head coach in hockey for six years, winning the state championship in 2002.
His Wake will be Thursday at Cannons in Orchard Park 4pm-8pm and funeral Friday at OLV at 9:15
Faculty and staff gathered outside Room 103 today, the classroom where Jim Stanley inspired so many young men during his time at Timon. Mr. Stanley '62 will forever be remembered for his leadership in the school and the legacy he has left us will be felt for generations to come.

Timon sends our thoughts to the family of Joe Head ‘69 who passed away. Mr. Head began teaching at Timon 1999 and retired in 2018 teaching students in Music, Chorus & Band. He is still the Voice of Timon with his National Anthem played before every game. Fortes in Fide

The largest incoming Freshman class since 2005 began their Timon journey today at our new student Orientation. We are so excited to have the Class of 2027 and the whole student body back tomorrow for the first official day of school.
Timon has named Matt Weiser as its new Director of Athletics. He is the Varsity Head Football Coach and served as Timon’s defensive coordinator for 4 years.
Weiser was First Team All-MAC TE and joined the San Diego Chargers, and later the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after college.
The Timon community mourns the loss of Paul Fitzpatrick `66. He was one of the charter members of the Timon Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981, based on his performance as a player and Football coach for 28 years. Funeral services will be held from OLV Basilica, Thursday at 10am.

Tonight Timons game at 6:30pm we will be recognizing John Shields ‘19 with a Pregame Ceremony to honor his memory. John was a two year Varsity Basketball Player for Timon and the team will be honoring John with this commemorative shield on the Timon Backboard.

Dennis exemplified the foundation of Franciscan teachings that were instilled upon him at Timon and continued throughout his career culminating in being named The President of St. Bonaventure University in 2017
Timon is saddened to learn of the passing of Stephen Barnes ‘76. After graduation Steve became the principle partner of Cellino and Barnes P.C. along with being a member of our Board of Trustees & was inducted into our John Timon Society. Steve will be missed by our Timon family

ESPN's Joe Lunardi joined Timon's Tues. Sports Mgt class via Skype. Lunardi shared his insights on NCAA Men's Basketball Bracketology & did a great job explaining metrics involved. In appreciation of Joe's time, the class will make a donation to Coaches vs Cancer in his name.
Timon wishes continued good luck to Patrick Kostek ‘20 who has completed his basic training and is now in San Antonio to work towards being an Army Medic.
Patrick comes from a long Timon Family: Grandfather Daniel Redmond ‘57 , Uncle Daniel Redmond ‘89 and his brother Kyle ‘15.

In his 4th year of Timon basketball, Joey has been a staple at guard throughout his tenure & has also played lacrosse and football, where he was recently named All WNY Honorable Mention Scholar Athlete. Joey plans to attend St. Bonaventure for business major following graduation
