Eren's menacing presence in this scene, added to Yuki Kaji's bone-chilling voice acting, not only elevated the source material, it was also more frightening than many villains out there holy shit. The sinister vibes he gave made the grand reveal all the more epic! #shingeki

The very point of this scene was to depict Armin & Mikasa's state of mind as the closest person they have just announced that he's about to commit genocide on a scale that's never been seen before. This is the lowest point both characters have ever been in their lives. 1/8

#aot138spoilers Mikasa isn't imagining things as some people say. Don't think Eren & Mikasa would "imagine" the same things at the same time It's clear what Mikasa saw in this chapter is directly related to her headaches & Eren's "dream" from the first chapter

#aot138spoilers I've got no fucking words This was the most intense chapter since 119. Emotions were all over the place. The way Isayama kept the momentum from the previous chapters & took it to the next level was genious. The stakes are too high now. This is truly the end

I honestly think the take that "Eren carried AoT" is a reductive statement towards AoT's cast. Even though he was a great character in pre-ts, there were multiple characters that took the spotlight from Eren in different arcs like Levi, Erwin, Armin, Annie, Ymir, Grisha, etc. +
