What was once a mission to isolate VMO and improve the 'timing' compared to the VL needs to change to: 1. good explanation of diagnosis 2.eliminating catastrophic beliefs 3. improving adherence with the highest level of quad strengthening that is without acceptable pain limits.

@AdamMeakins 👍🏼All the RCTs we have done that have included a ‘wait & see’ arm has shown it helps for a not insignificant proportion of participants - our wait & see is essentially dethreatening the condition w simple message & encouraging movement /discouraging immobilisation/inactivity
