Since Philly Inquirer is betraying journalism by ignoring today's House Judiciary Committee hearing on Krasner, as a public service, Big Trial has dropped its pay wall and will be covering it gavel to gavel.
Larry Krasner's about to hold another press conference on the arrest of the former cop who shot the 17 year-old who was shooting at police. Imagine how safe the city would be if Krasner prosecuted every alleged criminal the same way he goes after cops.
After publicly calling him out, I confronted D.A. Krasner at a press conference today, asking him to point out what I allegedly got wrong in previous stories about his so-called exonerations that will cost taxpayers more than $100 million. His response: he ran away.
Since I took office six years ago, a record number of 2,664 Philadelphians have been murdered. But thanks to my friends at The Philadelphia Inquirer, people still think I'm a reform D.A.
Here's the one-minute video of D.A. Krasner fleeing his own press conference rather than explain the lenient plea bargain he gave an alleged serial carjacker who allegedly shot at the police four times:
Imagine during a record murder, shooting & carjacking spree, a Philly DA tells reporters at a press conference that they can only ask him questions about swimming pools, and they all go along with it.
Hey D.A. Larry Krasner: When Walter Wallace was arrested in March for stabbing his girlfriend, why didn't you press charges? Instead, you let him out after he posted a $1,000 deposit on $10,000 bail. You are responsible for yesterday's fatal shooting.
Today, Larry Krasner had two staffers bar me from going upstairs at the D.A.'s office to attend a press conference. I was told I had disrupted a previous press conference, and was no longer allowed to attend Krasner's pressers. This, of course, is unconstitutional.
The Inquirer is Larry Krasner's whore. It's as simple as that. They have prostituted themselves by abdicating their responsibility to hold him accountable.
Why did the Inquirer take the story of the accused SEPTA killer off the front page of ? Why didn't they mention the sweetheart deal the accused killer got from Larry Krasner when he was previously caught with guns? Because the Inky has to protect Krasner.
Krasner and his friends at the Inquirer would like to keep all this behind closed doors. But Big Trial is about to publish a shocking 12-page letter that Joel Fitzgerald has written to Krasner that blows the lid off his son's case, and what Krasner has done to destroy the city.
@phillymag
Yo Victor, it's not Steve who's out murdering more than 1,500 people in the past three years. At least he realizes there might be a problem here in our progressive utopia. Philly Mag does zippo hard news reporting. The Inquirer covers for Larry the white savior.
After 17 months, Krasner finally gets around to telling the Fitzgerald family he won't seek the death penalty in their police officer son's execution-style murder:
I ask PC Bethel if he agrees with DA Krasner's decision to not seek the death penalty in the execution-style murder of Temple Officer Chris Fitzgerald:
Did you know Philadelphia set an all-time record last month for murders in January, with 50. At this rate, we'll hit 600 murders for the year. Quite a tribute to Kenney, Krasner & Outlaw.
A jury finds Inga Saffron, Inquirer, guilty of defamation in Stu Bykofsky case. Jury awards $45,000 in damages and tags Saffron personally with $1,000 in punitive damages for "outrageous conduct."
The Philadelphia Inquirer just lost a motion for summary judgement to toss former columnist Stu Bykofsky's defamation suit out of court. Jury selection in Byko's case against the Inky and Inga Saffron is scheduled to start Dec. 1st.
People Are Dying In Philadelphia Because Of Larry Krasner's Progressive Policies, And You Never Hear A Word Of Criticism From Mayor Kenney, Police Commissioner Outlaw & Philly Inquirer. Progressives Stick Together.
Big Trial reported the suspected murderer of the 21-year-old Temple student was previously arrested and released for another armed robbery and attempted carjacking. This was also reported by Fox 29, CBS3 & 6ABC. But the Inquirer didn't report it. You have to ask why.
Ask yourself a simple question.
In front of the entire local press corps, the Philly D.A. loudly announces that he's banning his lone critic from attending all future pressers.
And not one of them has the courage to tell anybody about it.
Last week, Krasner slandered my reporting about 3 high-paid carpetbaggers in his office who are living illegally outside the city. This week, I dared him to list what facts were wrong with those stories. The result: He ran away.
The deadline for seeking the death penalty in the Fitzgerald case is tomorrow.
The Fitzgerald family hasn't heard a word from Krasner.
The media didn't ask the DA at his presser what he's going to do.
Nor did they ask about the DA's plan to meet with the killer.
The Inquirer, always in the tank for Larry Krasner, just gave the D.A. a pass on his money laundering operation now being done with campaign cash. It's all laid out in public records, as detailed on my blog, but the Inky won't touch it.
@phillymag
You're blaming the messenger. Get off your ass and do some reporting. In case you may have missed it, Krasner is corrupt and every media outlet in town is covering for him.
I just got caught lying about who makes the decision to seek the death penalty for a cop killer. [me]. I also lied about who made the decision to spare the killers of Sgt. Robert Wilson. [me again]. Fortunately, my friends at the Inquirer are covering for rme.
Philly Inquirer maintaining news blackout on the House Judiciary Committee hearing at 9 a.m. tomorrow on D.A. Krasner that's happening less than a half mile away from their newsroom.
A week after D.A. Krasner told tourists they have nothing to fear because there's no crisis of violent crime in Philadelphia, there's been 15 armed robberies in Center City:
Krasner Strikes Again! Suspect Who Allegedly Murdered Dog Walker Was A Twice-Convicted Felon Who Was Accused Of A Carjacking. But His Bail Was Reduced And He Got Out Of Jail:
PA Supreme Court to hear 'extraordinary' legal challenge to Larry Krasner's advocacy on behalf of a two-time convicted killer, at the expense of two murder victims:
Prosecution of retail theft [RT] is down 80%.
Two-thirds of the RT cases charged by Krasner are either withdrawn or dismissed.
When those RT cases do go to court, Krasner loses 75% of the time.
And who does he blame for all this -- the police.
'Not part of our campaign:' Here's Helen Gym posing with campaign workers, including Eddie Brokenbough, the ex-felon who was packing an illegal gun when he was shot dead by another campaign worker:

@KeeleyFox29
Yes, that's the problem, Victor. Everyone's not as smart as you and your enlightened publication. That's why every month you have to tell us where to eat, who the best docs are in town, etc. Because you're all so much smarter than the rest of us.
I'm a corrupt D.A. who doesn't pay my taxes, and routinely gives sweetheart deals to criminals caught carrying illegal guns. But thanks to my friends at the Inquirer, people still think I'm a reform D.A.
The Lawyer For A SWAT Team Member Fired For Pepper-Spraying Protesters Has Some Bad News For the Police Commissioner, Mayor, And D.A. -- The Truth Is Coming Out:
Notice how the Inquirer doesn't print any negative news about Larry Krasner, so their progressive darling can get reelected in the May 18th Democratic primary? It's called slanting the news. The LA Times used to do that for Nixon.
SCANDAL ALERT; watch Larry Krasner play games to dodge questions about him covering up alleged domestic violence by his former deputy campaign director. Story to follow.
Robert Listenbee, Krasner's First Assistant D.A., Is An Out-Of-Towner Who Uses A Phony Address To Get Around the Residency Requirement & Commit Voter Fraud:

@Jim_Jordan
Just talked to Joel Fitzgerald who says that Krasner lied to Steve Keeley. Fitzgerald personally told Krasner twice about today's House Judiciary Committee that Krasner says he was blind-sided by.
The Philadelphia Inquirer's crimes against journalism: while people are dying because of the D.A.'s progressive policies, the Inquirer is covering for a D.A. with blood on his hands. And now they're censoring Carlos Vega, Krasner's opponent in the May 18th Democratic primary.
