We are absolutely thrilled to share the wonderful news that Miss Truswell and Mr Lovelidge are the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy.
Congratulations to you both from everyone at Benjies. (We can’t wait for cuddles with the new arrival.)
We love a laugh at BA. Poor Mr Lovelidge had a bad start to the day when he had to call the AA for his burst tyre in nothing more than his onesie and dressing gown. Mr Coy never laughed so much on a world book day. The AA man may never recover 😂😂😂
It was a sad day for Benjies as we said goodbye to Mrs Bembridge today. She’s been part of the school for 17 years and she will be missed. Wishing her all the best in the future.
We were delighted to welcome our Nursery and Reception children back to school today. The girls from one Reception bubble were very keen to show off their hula hooping skills during playtime.
We can’t wait to see our Year 1 and 6 children at the end of the week. 🌈😀
We love our children, we love our staff and above all we love our community.time for everyone to stick together and we want to thank you all for your support

Today we say goodbye to Mrs Ward, Miss Pritchard, Miss Sarson and Mr Finch 😢. Thank you for everything you have done for Benjies and wishing you all the very best in the future. ⭐️
Wow, we are speechless...thank you to all the generous people of Gainsborough and the Salvation Army for providing so many Christmas gifts and hampers for our grateful families.

A big thank you to all the incredible staff
@Benjamin_Adlard
who have worked through the Easter holidays to ensure key worker children are provided with child care. You are all amazing 👏👏👏
Huge congratulations to Mrs Noble who gave birth to the beautiful Freddie Noble yesterday. Both Mrs Noble and Freddie are doing really well 😊😊
#BenjiesBaby
Well done to our fantastic choir who sang at the Market Place for the Christmas Light Switch On event. You all sounded amazing and we are so proud of all of you. 🎤 🎶 🎵
This is how we make a difference to our community. We have funded three family swims sessions at the local leisure centre for year 3 and 4 to make up for the fact most of our children have missed out of swimming this academic year.

Happy New Year everyone. We have had a fantastic first day back and it has been great to see everyone again. We warmly welcome our new Head of School

Huge thank you to everyone who came to our summer fair this afternoon. We have raised over £900 which we will be using for new curriculum resources for all our children. Big thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered. We really appreciate the support.
Our children wanted to go to the Panto this Christmas so we took the whole school for FREE. Our way of saying thank you to our families for a great Christmas. We had the best time at the

Mr Lovelidge just popped to see the art work that one of our children has been designed. It looks amazing and I’m sure the residents of Gainsborough love it. 👍👍

Fortunately, luck was on our side with regards to technology this afternoon, so we were able to hold our first virtual Star of the Week celebration assembly.👍🌈⭐️
Happy 50th Birthday to our wonderful Assistant Head
@McKayDebbie70
! ‘You’ll always be part of the school’s DNA, sharing your smile day after day, so everyone wishes you all the best, teachers, children and all the rest.’ Have a lovely day from all at Benjies. 🍰 🎁 🎂
The whole school had the best time watching the Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime this afternoon. Big thank you
@TrinityArtsGain
for looking after us all so well and a huge thank you to the Henry Smith Charity for supporting our school to take all our pupils to the panto for FREE.
Although 2020 has been a difficult year for most, we’ve still had an excellent year where our pupils have continued to thrive. Here’s a look back at our highlights from 2020. Happy new year to everyone associated with

What a great last day our year sixes had. Mr Groves and Mr Brown planned lots of different bushtucker trials up at forest school - here’s some of the best photos of the day.
Year six used the money they have raised throughout the year to treat themselves to a chip shop lunch. They even treated Jane the lollipop lady as a way of saying thank you. 🐠🍟
It’s an exciting half term for
@benjamin_adlard
. Our children were desperate for our MUGA to be resurfaced with artificial grass so we made it happen. We’re also getting flood lights fitted too. Thank you
@WestLindseyDC
and
@ActiveLincs
for helping us with this project. ⚽️🏀🥎🏈
We held an ‘I’m a year 6 get me out of here’ afternoon at forest school today. Our year sixes had to complete a number of horrendous bush tucker trials … Mr Brown and Miss Wisdom loved it as you can tell 😁
Wow...what a fantastic surprise on World Book Day, we received our free Books for School from Harper Collins and The Sun. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to read them all.

talking all things forest school and how the school makes a differences to children’s outdoor experiences. Oh and give his new twitter page a follow 👍
After spending lots of time reading Clean Up in class, without being asked, this superstar has taken responsibility for ensuring we keep the beach clean. We are so proud of him!
So proud of our amazing parents and wonderful and resilient children who have absolutely smashed remote learning.👊👊👊 We are looking forward to seeing you on Monday. 🙌🙌🙌
We have a couple of extra visitors up at forest school for our Easter egg hunt today. What an amazing last day planned for our children

Yesterday was the first “Lunching with Lovelidge.” Six children who ‘always’ follow our Golden Rules were invited to have lunch and play games with Mr Lovelidge.👏👌⭐️
Lots of excited children in school today, so Bubble 3 decided during playtime we would have a snowball fight! Mrs McKay was sensible and took the photos and poor old Mr Groves seemed to be the number one target. ☃️❄️☃️
These two talented legends opened up our inset day with a rap video to welcome our partner schools and introduce the

values. I think you’ve got competition
@stormzy
enjoy everyone 👍
We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Miss Grey has given birth to a beautiful baby girl. Everyone at Benjies sends their congratulations and best wishes to
