I’ve been to what seems like hell and back over the last 2 weeks, battling COVID-19 & pneumonia, which equaled a week in the hospital. I’m finally getting my strength back & I’m so very grateful for all the medical personnel who provided incredible care. Stay safe, everyone.

*Took my kids to the pool on a weekday. *Watched a movie with my kids on a weekday evening. *Drove my son to summer league basketball games and didn’t have to rush home. *Watched my daughter’s softball game from start to finish. So....this is real life?

I know it’s difficult when determining fall sports in Illinois. But I’m a parent of both a senior and sophomore who have aspirations of playing beyond HS. All I ask of decision makers is a plan. If Plan A doesn’t work, then have a Plan B, C, D, etc. Devise multiple options.
