Took my five year old to his first @wokingfc game today. To say the experience was pure magic would be quite the understatement. Sure, we lost 3-0 to an already relegated side (😬) but for him it was mesmerising and it was AMAZING to introduce him to Kingfield. #COYCards ❤️🤍

As lovely as it is to see Kingfield in all its rustic glory, it terrifies me to think how long it’ll be empty for. Bankrolling football long term isn’t going to work. Fans quite simply need to be let back in and fast. 1.5k-2k inside a 6k capacity stadium is not a tall order.

Small football clubs are feeling the toll of the pandemic. Without crowds coming in, cash isn't coming in either. @wokingfc manager Alan Dowson told #5News if the government doesn't do more to help, he believes more than two-thirds of football clubs will fail within the year.

0.8%. Most people I spoke to were expecting anywhere between 5-15% positive results so this is an absolute peach of a result for the Premier League (I guessed 70). It goes without saying we should wish ‘the six’ a speedy recovery -and it’s early days- but this is great news.
