Hardcore AI techbros have such a disturbing lack of empathy. I'll see people raising legitimate ethical concerns about generative AI being used to spread harmful disinformation, or to push artists out of work, and they get the most callous, dismissive replies defending AI.

@marysuewriter I will never forget the communication class I took where we all had to make a presentation to persuade the class to donate to a particular cause, one dude chose an anti-abortion group, and BEN SHAPIRO was one of his main sources. Needless to say, hardly anyone chose his cause.
