My 1st week of ICU as an intern was intense and full of 1sts. 1st stat intubation. 1st fem line. 1st IJ. 1st time I broke news to a family alone. 1st terminal extubation. I’ve learned so much and been so humbled by my role and ability to make an impact in it all. #criticalcare

I preformed my first laparoscopic appendectomy as a surgical intern! Attendings make it look so easy, but it was honestly a challenge for me. There’s a reason residency if 5 years. The best feeling in the world tho was when my patient said she felt better after! #worthit #surgery
