Apparently there’s a subset of Leafs fans who believe the OT goal was actually a missed icing call because Lindholm was behind the redline.
Ignoring the fact Pasta was the first player to the puck.
Love that an Original 6 fanbase still hasn’t figured out hockey yet.
All the fun stuff after the Trevor Zegras/Trent Frederic interaction that Boston's coverage missed
Brad Marchand and Max Comtois called for Unsportsmanlike conduct
I don’t have all the right words right now.
But Lindholm tying the game and then making THE best indirect pass I’ve ever seen is something I’ll never forget.
Brad Marchand takes a dangerous knee on knee hit from Erik Johnson, chews out the refs for not calling anything, and gets 2 minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct.
As Jack says in the clip, this type of hit ends careers. Don't blame Marchand for losing his cool here.
Tkachuck shoving every Bruins in sight while actively skating away from each one. Toughest dude on the ice except when it comes time to answer the call.
Pat Maroon on Bruins response after Tkachuk's fight with Pastrnak:
"It's two skilled guys fighting. Tkachuk's not gonna fight me. If I go out there, take a dumb penalty and they get a power play my job's not accomplished.
"Can't look at it like that. Just gotta take numbers."
As a reminder to the Panthers players not to complain to the refs, photos of all the officials with the letters 'STFU' are on Florida's bench 🤣

This is a fantastic article from Conor and well worth the read.
If Beecher has a killer game tonight I’m attributing it to him seeing this quote from Marchand.
"I’d make a lot more money."
"The guy’s a horse."
“It’s something that I get to look up to every day."
"Guy’s a magnet."
I asked several Bruins which skill they'd want to take from a teammate.
There was far from a consensus:
Matthew Tkachuck boards Parker Wotherspoon - refs call it two minutes for interference.
Tkachuck IMMEDIATELY starts crying about the call.
Bruins score on the ensuing powerplay to take their first lead of the game.

I think this series has shown that Brad Marchand is ready to captain the Boston Bruins, whenever that time comes.
Has been an incredible leader for this team in his discipline and team management in Bergeron’s absence.

In six games played since returning from the holiday break:
Frederic: 5G-2A-7P +9
Coyle: 4G-4A-8P +2

DeBrusk: 4G-4A-8P +0
Pastrnak: 4G-7A-11P +5
Geekie: 3G-3A-6P +2

That's SEVEN skaters at/over a point per game.
That was mostly a tough watch.
But.
Turning to a crowd of Montreal fans to scream in their faces while slamming the spoked B on my chest after Jake’s OT winner was legitimately a Top 5 life experience.
BIG energy in this building right now. “Let’s Go Bruins” chants from the security gates to the seats.
Hub Hall was packed from 4pm on.
This place is going to be otherworldly tonight.
Lomberg’s hit was late, Cousin’s hit was seemingly high, and Chuck offers to go and they decline. Either settle it or don’t but if you keep throwing shitty hits like that expect a long game.
