I strongly condemn the comments made by Helmut Marko against Sergio Perez.
Mainstream F1 media should also do the same.
He's attacked the fact he has kids, used his nationality as a reason to attack him as well.
Marko is trying to bully Checo out of the team
"Toto it's a motor race"
Fuck you Masi. Your calls were bullshit.
Max doesn't deserve his championship overshadowed like this. Lewis didn't deserve to lose like that.

Given the abuse, it is hardly surprising that Mercedes have taken this action.
Every post that doesn't worship the ground Lewis walks on is met with abuse. Even if they do praise Lewis, it isn't enough.
This isn't about Lewis, it's about the Cult being told where to go
So apparently Mercedes admin has started blocking and unfollowing all Lewis Hamilton fan accounts. If it wasn't obvious before, then this should do it for sure. Relationship between Lewis and Mercedes has started to crack from within.
Seen some Maxerati try and claim that AD21 was in some way "retribution for Silverstone".
Well, seeing as I'm in a hunting mood, let me drop a thread on your stupid asses so I can explain how to two don't equate at all.

@MattyWTF1
Matt, it took the FIA 97 days to write a report stating what we already knew. 4 hours is a sprint in comparison.
But yes, the situation is a shambles. There is no F1 without the drivers. They must be protected
@RobLMyers
@fia
Crofty was right when he said that it would be underwhelming. This about as much as I expected.
"yeah Masi screwed up under pressure, we got rid of him, but we can't do anything about the result now".
@roadrunner0914
"Hamilton clearly can't win in a bad car"
Go and watch Hungary & Singapore 2009. The McLaren that year was a dog. Yes they fought back to get these wins, but that car was crap for large chunks of the year.
@rbrzoe
You do realise that Ferrari were talking about this months ago? Like, way before Toto said anything in Singapore?
I don't think Red Bull are winning anything. They can risk the Arbitration panel if they wish, but the FIA aren't likely to lose that.
@SkySportsF1
@RobLMyers
Sort of what you have been asking for?
Sources close to LH asking for the FIA to bring something tangible being reported in mainstream

After his media commitments following his DNF, Russell stuck around the media pen just long enough to be sure Hamilton had the win on the final lap, then headed off to rejoin the team. Said Mercedes is clearly back, had the pace to be one-two even in normal conditions today.
@CameronF1YT
He never explicitly said Red Bull robbed Lewis. And he was spitballing a movie script. Massive over reaction by Horner and Red Bull, as always
It's one thing for a referee to take an interpretation of a rule, with grey area, you don't agree with.
It's another to fundamentally change a rule, with no grey area, to honour a gentleman's agreement not written in the rules.
@autosport
O lord this is a toughie. Fuji 07, Silverstone 08, China 11, Austin 12, Bahrain 14, Singapore 17, Germany 18, Monaco 19, Turkey 20 & Brazil 21 all spring to mind.
Will go Fuji 07
Yet we all know what happened. Lewis overcame it and won the GP, cutting Max's lead in the WDC from 33 to 8. One of his best drives.
Yet, Red Bull said it was a professional foul and many Maxerati still contend Lewis deliberately took Max out.
To which I say bullshit
It was hard racing, Lewis saw a gap and wanted to take it. He'd set the move up in the previous corners and felt ready to take the chance. Verstappen doesn't yield ever, so the inevitable happened.
Many still feel he should have been DQ's and suspended which is just nonsense.
@F1_Jordan
Classic toxicity from you here Jordan. You need to give it a rest and not whine ALL the time about everything.
This is a humbling but powerful move by Elliot. To recognise your weakness and stand aside for the betterment of the team shows what a team player he is.
@RobLMyers
@fia
@F1
Masi's position is untenable now. He has to go. I think questions need to be asked of Wheatley as well. My earnest mistake take doesn't seem so solid right now
I have 2:
1. Sebastian Vettel is not a Top 10 All Time Great
2. Max Verstappen can't be considered Top 5 as he hasn't had the same level as competition as those that have come before
Been nervous to share this because I get awkward about sharing stuff where I'm singing, but here goes.
I'm the Tenor on this clip. We opened last night and I was really happy with how it went.
Enjoy this short trailer
@thanos876
Better to sign them both up now and have a year of integration. I suspect the Hulkenburg deal goes beyond driving as well.
German company comes in and wants a German driver? Seen this before
So, having explained Silverstone and knowing what we do about AD21, it is abundantly clear the two are not the same.
Silverstone was racing, AD was catastrophic human error (as stated by the FIA).
Michael Masi did not order Lewis to drive into Max to make it more interesting
One last thing, which I have left until now.
Where did Lewis make his pass on Leclerc to win the race? Up the inside at Copse corner, just like he tried to do on Lap 1.
End of Thread
If Max forcing Lewis off in Brazil was hard racing then this doesn't even constitute hard by your logic.
I get the frustration of many Max fans and Maxerati. Max crashes, Lewis wins despite a penalty. That's motorsport sometimes.
And I am going to cover off the Red Flag...
@Sid_footyF1
O no, a team bigs up their driver. What a horrible and heinous crime.
Would you call this embarrassing if Lewis had done it and they bigged him up?
I know most Maxerati will not listen to this, tell me to cry more, point to "proof" Lewis did it deliberately etc. I don't give a crap about your delusions in regard to this incident. If you still think Lewis took him out on purpose, you either don't know wheel or its an agenda
@cytrusf1
Different stewards, different outcomes. Plus the 10 second penalty is only a punishment from this year. By 21 standards that would likely be 5 or give the place back
Lewis should have been made to give the position to Max
@clappedsti
Exactly. Glad we agree.
I think some, not all, are using the "It's the car" jibe a bit tongue in cheek after years of getting it ourselves.
Can't speak for everyone though. There will be those that think it's true.
which given he was the aggressor in this situation, fine. Would I have given it? No, first lap incidents are just that, but I get it.
Lewis was given a 10 second penalty for the incident. That's a very serious penalty to be given and in most cases would be a race ruiner
@thanos876
Danny is the only one who was competitive with Max. I am fairly certain if he had had some better reliability in 18 he would have beaten him.
@there_is_no_if
I think this whole thing is being blown way out of proportion. Classic give an inch take a mile mentality.
Lewis has raised the issue and its on the team to rectify it. I'm sure they will
Yes, Lewis had terminal damage on his car and if the red flag had not been thrown, he would have gone out.
Did Lewis get lucky?
Yes, he did, but again, that's motorsport. This coming from someone who does not like the Red Flag rules.
A reminder to all Mercedes fans:
It's Testing. It's Day 1 of Testing. IT'S ONLY FIRST SESSION OF THE FIRST DAY OF TESTING.

@ahmed_baokbah
Don't agree Ahmed, I think they are heading in the right direction. We always seem to forget that they are running a mule car right now and that the architecture of the car isn't right. Let's see how we get on at the start of next year.
Helmut Marko responds to the backlash to his xenophobic comments on Checo, by doubling down with the following quotes:
βIt wasnβt meant that way. I meant that a Mexican has a different mentality than a German or a Dutchman
βBut who knows, maybe itβs [the mentality] controlledβ
We all know the incident in question, Max and Lewis collide at Copse on the 1st lap of the 2021 British GP.
My view on it, even as a Lewis fan, is that it was a racing incident, but I understand why Lewis got the penalty. He was judged to have been predominantly at fault...
The FIA cannot repunish an offence that has already been dealt with.
There is precedent for this as well. Germany 2010. Remember that?
Ferrari were fined 100k on the day by the stewards and the FIA upheld that decision, thus creating the precedent.
This is just so sad. Felipe was the perfect example for how to lose with dignity.
Not only has he undone that, he has forever tarnished the high regard he was held in by so many.

What today has shown is that F1 needs permanent stewards so that incidents can be ruled upon consistently.
This inconsistent application of the rules is getting beyond a joke.
Honestly, you guys need to do better because the agendas are getting worse with each passing second.
Big pages with big followings have a responsibility to be very careful with the information they put out there. They are not doing that currently
@fastpitstop
@SkySportsF1
Horrible take here Stefanie. The Japan incident came about because of the Spa rule change and the massive loophole/oversight that came from that.
The teams and broadcasters didn't know about it hence the confusion and the silly scenes of Max's title win.
Verstappen fans - where are you? You've gone awfully quiet.
We are always here regardless of our drivers results. Don't tell me you are off having a strop?
#SingaporeGP
I think despite of what we may be feeling right now, and despite the driver we support, death threats are never okay!! There are real people behind the accounts youβre sending death threats too and thatβs scary behaviour. Please do report anything of that sort. That is not ok!
A lot to be positive about after that race for Team Mercedes
- Another home podium for Lewis
- Beat BOTH Astons
- Beat BOTH Ferraris
- Beat one McLaren
- Race pace was excellent
- Extend our gap in P2 Constructors
All those doom mongers are awfully quiet now
#BritishGP
Stop trying to justify the biggest disgrace our sport has ever seen.
The rules were not followed. Human Error occurred and the greatest season we have ever seen ended under a shroud.
Yes, the issue of how stewarding works is an issue, but that doesn't excuse this.
Christ, here we go again. Right.
"Obviously" robbed but not robbed enough to bring it to the court of appeals.
There's only two reasons for that, either or both can be true:
1) No rules were technically broken and therefore they knew they would lose on appeal.
or
2) Toto
@_gugul3thu
As I said before, is it any surprise? They put out content and get nothing but abuse back.
It's verging on unhinged at this point.
They are just trying to do their jobs. They should not be bullied by a fanbase that does not act in a manner befitting of the driver.
Ok, so
