There were fifteen other post office ministers besides Ed Davey during the Horizon scandal, yet Ed was the only one who met Alan Bates and tried to get answers from the Post Office.

I don't get the objection to inheritance tax. Only 4% pay it, but 2/3rds seem opposed to it. That means 60% of people are prepared to pay more income tax in order that the richest can pay less inheritance tax.

To put a bit of perspective on the results, Labour just won an election with 34.1% of the vote. Mid Beds now has an MP that 65.9% of the people there didn't want.

I suspect the reason LibDem councillors have a reputation for being so hard-working is because you have to be hard-working to win as a LibDem.
You can get elected for Tories/Labour without ever knocking on a door, but a LibDem never won an election without effort.

There is no route to No. 10 for Keir Starmer that doesn't involve the LibDems taking 25+ seats off the Tories.
Labour need to accept that and work out a plan accordingly, unless they want to be in opposition until at least 2029.

Apple's Lightning connector - still legal to make and sell in Britain, but you won't ever be able to get one because Apple is following EU rules globally.

The Post Office scandal ran for 25 years. Ed Davey was the minister in charge for only 18 months of that. During that time he was the only minister who actually agreed to talk with the victims, while multiple Labour and Tory ministers did refused all engagement.
Lots of people on the doorstep mentioning the number of LibDem garden posters up in Wimbledon. Voters here can clearly see which party has the support needed to beat the Conservatives in Wimbedon.

Both the LibDems and Labour plan to fix public services by growing the economy. The difference is the LibDems would rejoin the Single Market, so their plan is actually credible. Labour, on the other hand, are just going to wish really hard.

Brexit is costing us 4% of GDP. The defence budget is 2% of GDP. So, basically, as a country we are spending twice as much on Brexit as on defence.
