Medically retired podiatrist. UCLA Softball alum. Married 33 years. Mom to Russian born babies. aka Mamasita. Here to support, not argue. Home cooking. No DMs
@BowesChay
We adopted our children from Russian orphanages. They would’ve died if they’d stayed. Never in a million years would’ve ever thought I’d be grateful for their dual citizenship 😑
@BrainStorm_Joe
I’m def not telling anyone to shut up. But I’m exhausted. Tired of rallies, decodes, misinformation, lies. I have dogs and kids and a husband and had a brain bleed. Kinda losing my enthusiasm. I’m stocked up prayed up ready for anything. Grateful for your voice, all voices.
@krezae
I got in a car that looked exactly like mine. Door was unlocked. “My” sunglasses and phone were in the passenger seat. Weird. Trash was everywhere in the car. What the hell? Who did this? Oh. Ooops. Not my car. Got out slowly, hustled in to my car three spaces down. 😬🤷🏻♀️😂😂
@TuckerPoodleMA
People ask weird crap. Both of our kids were adopted from Russian orphanages. Both are stunning. So many people asked if we picked them for their looks. Like we had a choice. “Yeah they gave us a catalog. I said give me the pretty ones” 🙄🙄🙄
@Prolotario1
I’m done donating to “charities”. We quit a couple of years ago. We just try to help our immediate community directly. Forget tax write offs. Tired of scams
@DrunkRepub
Oh I’m sorry! We knew we were in the right church when our pastor put up on the screen images of (paraphrasing his words) “satanic artwork in our governor’s mansion” and that we’re in a war of good vs evil. I felt like grabbing a pillow, putting my feet up, and saying “continue!”
@dcpjustme
@tmsilverman
Good job David! I played for UCLA. 2 NCAA Championships. Married a lean man sprinter/pole vaulter. He could stop me with one hand, laughing, with me trying my hardest to take him down. For fun. I’m a tough woman. But he can protect the family.
@GTP_Podcast
My great uncle was an early chief scientist in the MK Ultra program. We’ve become fairly convinced over the last several years that my father was a victim in the early 70s. We started believing that before we ever knew about my great uncle. I am so sorry. And this has to end
@Prolotario1
@cdale_dog
I don’t even know if there is an actual “Donald Trump”. That’s how far gone I am. Just cooking, filling the freezers, stocking up. I really can’t control any if this. 🤷🏻♀️
I went out 3 times this morning. I didn’t enjoy the light rain. I let mom get soaked. It made me so happy that I came in and pooped in the house. I’m the best boy! Happy Friday! 🤭😑🤷🏻♀️
20 years ago today (20!) we hopped on plane after plane to return to Russia to adopt a 12 lb 7 month old baby with a flat head, crossed eyes, and pneumonia that was trying to kill him. Today he got his final exam grades. 3 A’s. Future electrician. Kid is too kind for this world.
We’re hungry. Literally starving. We don’t care that dinner’s at 6. We may not make it that long. Maybe someone will call animal control. Maybe we should bust out and hunt rabbits. We can’t be expected to live like this. Send help. 🐶🦮🙄
If what we think happened, happened….my heart breaks for Justin Bieber. And all of the children. Our world could use a lot of prayers right about now. And some good acts. And a strong will.
@armygir36701799
It’s exactly this or it’s sanctuary city disclosure. Being 30 minutes from Aurora, it seems like a lot bigger social media and national story than a local worry. Just saw a clip today on X “armed immigrants invade Denver suburb home!” It’s Commerce City. A hell hole. Folks 1.
@BrainStorm_Joe
We’re in Colorado. My neighbor saw me at our mailbox a bit ago. She ran to me in tears. It’s fine. Tried to reassure her that it’s fine. Because it’ll be fine. 🤷🏻♀️
@DrunkRepub
I’m participating when it comes to my school district JeffCo Public Schools. Nightmare district since 2020. One of the posts was from our school board member who had been a teacher at Columbine during the massacre. Columbine’s in our district. We’re sensitive about killing people

So people who have never heard of Ashley Biden’s diary are looking up through their fog thinking “what? Her father did….what?” Maybe. Just maybe ⏰⏰⏰
@Prolotario1
I told my husband three years ago we were in WWIII. He rolled his eyes. He’s changed his mind. Thank God. Nothing will make this easy. But having a tiny clue really helps 🥵
On my way to the Farmer’s Market. My husband said “oh, you look cute!” I never look cute. Apparently this needs to be memorialized. I despise selfies and hide from cameras. Too old and grumpy for this $#!t 🤭🥰
So. Intermittent fasting. I’ve had 6 (7?) surgeries since 2010. Gained crap ton of weight. Now 5 lbs from my college weight. 10 lbs from my “best”. 20 hours a day of bed rest, can still lose weight. My 50s stunk/sucked/were awful. Ignore the pill bottles. I’m old 🥵😑
Boo has decided to eat. The steroids are kicking in. We’re giving 444 mg FenBen 4 days a week. She was sent home to die with steroids and no hope. We don’t expect a miracle but happy to take one. For now, she’s eating like a Queen. We’ll take it
@BradMiller1010
They killed my friend the same way. She was in her fifties, had 3 grown (combat vet) sons and had 2 young ones she’d adopted (one a step grand child). I’m still livid. They killed her the same as if they’d put a bullet in her head. I am so so sorry.
@dantypo
Worst thing I ever saw…..I was in first grade. Sitting outside on the curb after school, still in front of the school. Taking off my white go go boots (I’m old) and getting ready to put on my tap shoes. Helicopter crashed right across the street from me into a backyard.
@CardioFixer
My husband asked me to drop of his saliva sample at Labcorp. Took it to the desk. “Do you have an appointment?” No. “Check in at the kiosk and have a seat” The wait was two hours. Took it to our office. Had the MAs call labcorp for a pickup. Hubby “well I coulda done that” 🤷🏻♀️❤️🙃
Forest followed a bunny under our house. Got himself trapped🙄 I had to find the largest egress, coax him out with treats, then block the area. Trouble on a stick 🥵🤭
@nomandates23
Had “Covid” (or whatever) Nov 2020. Sickest in my life. Allergic to flu vax so wouldn’t take Covid vax. 1 year long residual cough. Cleared in a few days with ivermectin. Also developed peripheral neuropathy. Awful. Stroke/brain bleed July 2021. Was healthy before the C . ??? 🤬

I disagree. People who don’t know what they’re talking about need to keep tweeting so it gives us a chance to hear an expert like you weigh in and teach us all something. It’s the perfect opening! 🥳

In 2020 I posted on FB that the only people who weren’t banging down doors demanding to go back to work were teachers. My teacher friends flipped out. “That’s not fair!”. Yeah well it was true. Every last one of them should’ve been at their governor’s office door.
@DrunkRepub
I’ve been keeping a hand written hard copy for a couple of years. But it’s in cursive so about 3 people under 35 can read it. Kinda like The Constitution.
Today I turn 62. Disabled, in pain, leave the house as little as possible. I HAVE to be somewhere next week. No decent clothes.
@Nordstrom
Park Meadows stylist Cyndi C. made shopping bearable. I no longer look homeless. Right direction.
We’ve almost mastered “sit” with Forest. He loves dehydrated beef hearts. He ran off in the backyard and I couldn’t get him to come. I went to the back door and yelled “SIT!” He came running. And sat. Good boy. Next we’ll work on “come”😑🙄❤️
Spicy steak stirfry. Maybe 35 years ago my husband (then boyfriend) took me to a Thai restaurant in San Francisco. He was convinced the chiles (I use arbol chiles) were harmless soybeans. He ate one, whole. 😬🤭 Not a soybean. 🔥🔥🔥 Have a spicy evening!
@DocNetyoutube
I appreciate your comments. I’m over 5’9, have 2 NCAA championships in softball and my kids are adopted. I started thinking “are people thinking I’m a dude!?!” I have my ultrasounds from my fertility tests and my husband of 33 years will back me up but….😬
It’s possible to have compassion for someone born XY who failed to develop external male genitalia, and was raised as a girl, and still think bio males shouldn’t punch women in the face for sport. The powers that be should never have put any of these athletes in this position
It looks like today is Boo’s last day. Doesn’t matter how many times we do this, it never gets easier. Quite the rough night, so at least the kids understand. Grateful the vet can come this evening.
Boo crossed over last evening with the help of the most amazing compassionate in-home end-of-life specialist vet. It was hard feeding just one dog this morning. The grief will lessen, the memories will bring us joy
@CaringPathways1
@atensnut
Thank you! (I mean well, yeah he does!). He just backed off work to 4 days a week so he can get more rest. So instead of resting he’s building a pond in the back yard. Maybe Tim just needs some hard work 😬🤭
Boo’s is not going gentle into that good night. She just launched herself over the retaining wall in pursuit of a squirrel. 5 days ago we thought today would be her day. Not yet she tells us. Not yet. ❤️🥳😊🐕🦺
Took me a while to find my calling, but my calling is “mothering”. Our friend went through a nasty divorce. We’ve made him come for Sunday supper every week for two years. This is his Easter dinner plate. I can’t make the pain go away. But…here….eat.
Our poor dog Boo can’t tolerate the vet. Terrified. Aged 9.5. Today had to be sedated while still in the car and carried in by amazing vet techs at Golden Animal Hospital. One bad tooth gone, teeth cleaned, nails short, rabies titer drawn, mass aspirated. She’s sleeping it off.
@Prolotario1
My husband wore his kilt to Christmas dinner and he looked perfect. But it’s a kilt. In his family’s plaid. That he got in Scotland. So it’s totally different. I hope 😬😂🥰
@martingeddes
It feels like being in the starting blocks for a race. The gun goes off. Then they call a false start on someone. Back in the blocks. It happens again. And again and again. The constant release of stress hormones isn’tgood for any of us. Still better than getting it all at once
Tried the stacked potatoes that
@eveforamerica
posted the recipe video for last night. Family approved. (This is the only “salad” my son will eat. Lettuce. Just lettuce. )
@Prolotario1
Again….my husband is lucky. Colorado mountain man. Hitchhiked in to the mountains since age 16. Now 61. Climbed every Colorado 14. Many times. No sightings. I believe you. He travels with guns, best spray, knives. Just….concerning
Oakley enjoying her acupuncture for her seizure disorder. Her little red unicorn acupuncture needle is protruding from atop her head. Not to jinx anything, but 80 days seizure free.
@SenseReceptor
My husband told me in 2020 “Trump supports the vax so you should get it”. I said I don’t care if the Lord God almighty comes down and says it’s safe, we’ll be last on earth to get it (meaning our then 12 year old and me). Really didn’t like our pediatrician pushing it
Lazy Sunday morning. He’s already done the hard work (“going” outside, eating his own food and not gunning for Oakley’s seizure med laden chow). Being a pupper is exhausting.
Boo feels good enough to hike up to the back deck after dinner. She ran up there full speed 10 days ago and fainted. Our first indication anything was wrong
