Great visit to Royal Free Hospital today to hear about exciting plans for 2 new operating theatres, which will help those with cardiac and vascular issues in North London, inc. Southgate and Wood Green. Thank you @RoyalFreeNHS for even letting me briefly watch an operation live!

It was great to meet @Girlguiding in Parliament this morning on #InternationalDayOfTheGirl ! They do amazing work teaching girls resilience and empowerment. Their Girls’ Attitudes Survey 2024 is crucial research on girls' and women's issues nationwide. Well done @Girlguiding !

It was nice to visit Bowes and Bound Repair Café to celebrate International Repair Day! The Café teaches repair skills and helps breathe life into items that would otherwise go to waste. It’s been a great addition to our local community and I look forward to seeing them grow.

Only 3% of our cancer research budget focuses on pancreatic cancer, despite it being one of the most aggressive. So I met reps from @PancreaticCanUK at #LabourConference2024 , to discuss the need for funding clinical trials & early detection mechanisms for pancreatic cancer.
