Teaching in Thailand for 20+ years & I can honestly say that a high % of Thai parents with special needs children live in complete denial. I’ve had P/T meetings where many get upset if you even hint that their child may have issues. This is real problem not being addressed!

I enjoy a short visit to Singapore but happy to be headed back to Bkk this morning! Everything is overpriced, except public transport, and you’d run out of interesting things to do if you were on a budget. Life here could quickly become monotonous and dull, in my humble opinion.

Tried out the Airasia flatbeds, but in my humble opinion, overnight flights are still hideous. (Did get to use ‘Fast track’ so that was nice.) Slept very little, as the seats were definitely ‘budget business’ but at least we got to arrive early and say good morning to Japan!

Hopped wrong train & went one stop in the wrong direction this AM only for partner to realize he’d forgotten his phone at the hotel! Frantic race back to hotel & run back to get a new train to the airport! Arrived with 5 minutes to spare before checkin closed. #bangkok #thailand

Whelp, that’s me done for another year!the online booking system for work visa system is fantastic! Got me in spot on 9AM & was processed in less than 10 minutes…over to do the re-entry which took a bit longer, but was just over an hour for both! Get an online appt if you can!

Saw this on a BTS billboard and thought i’d give it a go when I popped into the 7-11 for something sweet this afternoon. Verdict: it tastes more like frozen butter, than caramel popcorn and the after taste is still stuck in my mouth a hour later…would not try again! #icecream
