The first Spotted Flycatcher's I've seen this year, I love watching them fly out to catch a insect then back to same perch, from the Water of Minnoch.

I watched these lovely Bullfinches coming down from the trees to feed on the Sycamore seeds that are on the ground, there were two Males and two females, from earlier this week near Wigtown.

This Buzzard was striding across the field with its wings raised looking for worms, I counted seven of them in the same field, from last Sunday on a cloudy damp day near Newton Stewart.

Went a walk up Knockman Wood looking for butterflies etc, when I spotted this in the grass at the side of the track, a Black Morph Adder, a first for me.

Went to this hide to see what birds were about, about 5 minutes after I got there three Pine Marten's started climbing up this tree, very exciting and three years since I saw one here, from last month in the Newton Stewart Area.

These Swifts were landing on the gable end of my house, I think there are at least two pairs nesting under the slates for the first time, from last week in my garden in Newton Stewart.
