Was quite a bit of work, but the mod has been updated to work with 64bit RL. Some features might not work yet but will be fixed later. DX9 support has been dropped, the mod will only support DX11/64 bit RL now.
Also all 3rd party plugins require re-submission!
The mod is updated to work with the newest version of RL (v2.06)! We've added a popup when you launch the game for the first time after the update which lets you choose which freeplay binds you wish to use. You can change this setting at any time.
Didn't finish getting BM up and running again tonight, will probably continue tomorrow. Thank for the people that stopped by the stream and thanks
@TheGuanyin
&
@Jessie
for the hosts!
This
@RocketLeague
update hit the mod pretty hard, but it's up and running again. Some stuff might still be broken but that'll be fixed another time.
This update includes goal blockers for custom training and more. Full changelog in the discord
BakkesMod has been updated to work with RL v1.66. Restart your injectors if you haven't gotten the update already!
Ps. if you use the autoreplayuploader and have upload visibility to "private" or "hidden" it may have been reset and you'll need to set it back manually.
Since people are still having issues, we've now packaged BM in an installer. This will automatically close older versions, allow you to select the install location & create a desktop shortcut. If you are still having issues, download the new version on
Just pushed another update which should resolve most common injection issues. Restart BakkesMod or do File -> Check for updates or File -> reinstall.
Make sure Rocket League is not running when doing this, also make sure that BM is ran as administrator if it doesnt work.
The mod now works with RL 1.73. Was a bit later that normal because I was stuck at uni until a few hours ago. No new features but did write some new code to make stuff work with the update, let us know if anything is broken!
Just pushed a new BM version that's compatible with the latest Rocket League. No major feature changes, but we did add
@rustlang
support to the SDK! Full changelog:
BakkesMod was updated shortly after the RL update. With the new patch, I've also added some new features to BakkesMod, including a notification system (in beta, turn it on in the "misc" tab). If you haven't already, make sure to update.
Full changelog:
If you ran into injection issues all of a sudden, make sure to download the newest version of the injector from the website and delete the old one! Be aware that if you previously had to whitelist the bakkesmod exe, you might need to do it again.
Mod has been updated to work RL 1.59. Changes are:
- Ability to disable powerups in rumble freeplay
- cl_soccar_ballfadein to enable/disable the ball fade in effect in training
- Bugfixes such as MMR showing in main menu again/fixed disable goal scoring
The mod has been updated to work with the latest RL version. No changes except for some bug fixes + added dolly_cam_clone to the dollycam which lets you take snapshots in playercam
(makes flycam -> playercam transition easier for video editors) (thanks
@CinderBlockCB
)
Just released an update which works with the latest 1.56 patch! I've readded custom car colors (which will automatically be encoded in the share string)
Unfortunately I've had to disable the autoreplayuploader plugin for now, but it should be back shortly!
If you're having injection issues, I'm currently helping people out on Discord (). Before asking for help in
#64bit
-help, please follow the instructions below (since following the instructions seems to fix it 99% of the time)

I've also livestreamed the fixing process, might do more programming streams in the future if people are interested. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the stream! And also thanks
@Z9RocketLeague
for the host!
Also, the website was down a bit, there were too many clients checking for updates at the same time which resulted in us basically DDoSing ourselves. Props to
@ken_colton
for looking into it and fixing it
Updated BakkesMod for the new 1.49 patch. BakkesMod now has the ability to hide drop notifications (including seasonal drops), car colors in freeplay, eggplants and more! Full changelog here:
Restart your injector to get the newest update!

BakkesMod now works for RL 1.71. Use File->Check for updates to instantly get the update. If you were crashing after todays RL update, make sure you download the newest injector from the website
BakkesMod has been updated to work with the hotfix patch!
Ps. Did you know you can get April fools ranked icons with BakkesMod? It's an option in the "Ranked" tab
Fun project I did, wins/losses module design/overlay for
@Kaydops
automated using a custom
@BakkesMod
plugin written by
@DanBergholt
. I did the design, animation and front end coding. Turned out really well. Check it out live
It looks like Black Ops 4 closes itself when it finds a process with the word "injector" in it. Simply renaming bakkesmodinjector.exe to bakkesmod.exe (or download the new zip from the website) should stop BO4 from closing!
@Treyarch
Why is this a (anti-cheat?) feature 🥺
Excited to see what people are going to be able to build with the new ReplayFX in combination with the dollycam.
If any programmers want to help improve the dollycam, the code is open source:
BakkesMod is now up to date for 1.53! It also contains some new features such as auto uploading replays to . Full changelog:
Restart your injector to get the update!
@LegonTW
No need to uninstall, can just keep it as-is, as soon as the 64 bit version of a plugin becomes available it *should* automatically be downloaded and loaded
@Vishy37
Apologies! I've pushed out an update which should fix these crashes, if you're willing to give it a try let me know if you run into any issues!
@ThelulzRL
@VirgeRL
@JakeRL_
@RocketLeague
@PsyonixStudios
This has actually already been in the mod for a while! The freeplay multiplayer lobbies allow the host to use any of the plugins such as rebound/redirect as well.
@PenguinDaft
has built a plugin for this so you can set up shots like in custom training, but for multiple players!
@ImprezRL
Can you tell me how exactly? I haven't had any reports of this happening. The crashes people are experiencing can be solved by deleting the X3DAudio1_7.dll in the win32 folder of RL. Which isn't a file from BakkesMod.
@zengruu
@FrinteerSpot
@LiquipediaRL
These were actually manually retrieved from the rocketleaguereplays website back when it was still up. If
@LiquipediaRL
allows me to I'd gladly make it so they are automatically updated!
@TimelessTobias
hey, unfortunately some upgrades went wrong on a few PCs. Reinstalling the mod using the injector should fix it (this will reset your settings though, backup your config.cfg in case you absolutely need to keep them )
@ImprezRL
Interesting. Can you send any crash files you have into
#help
on our discord? You're currently the only person having an issue specifically w/ BM and not from the audio dll
@RedSntDK
The plugin should automatically overwrite! No need to do anything. If you want to absolutely sure you can always do File -> Reinstall but then you need to configure the mod to your liking again.
@fuzzoom
@tschebureki
@Mau5xMedic
@RocketLeague
The version check functionality has been in there for a while, but looks like I messed up assignments when I tried to fix crashes when handling corrupt manifests 😅. Shouldn't be any issue now since everything is up to date, but will be resolved before next RL update!
@Renital_427
It's not required. This is mostly just done because people aren't used to standalone executables and many people lost track of where they put it causing all kinds of confusion 😆Using the new installer wouldn't hurt though, but older versions should remain usable (for now).
