While in Wisconsin, Boo thought it’d be nice to roll in a dead fish just before bed. Little did he know, that would earn him an emergency bath since he was very adamant about sleeping in our bed. He was not thrilled when tied to a chair to dry by the fan first 🤣

Today, @BlairBraverman gave me a quick lesson on dry-land dog carting and I got to DRIVE the dogs with her as my rider! Then we went to Nature’s Kennel and played with puppies and pet the adult sled dogs. Heading back to Indiana now- what a weekend! #UglyDogs

@BlairBraverman Day 1 at meteorology camp and Boo learned how to “shake”! I picked his paw up a total of THREE times while saying shake, then asked him about 6 hours later, and he knew how to do it! And he gets SO PROUD every time he does it now 😍

Heartbreaking end to @QuinceMountain rookie Iditarod but necessary for the health of humans along the trail. Q was withdrawn by officials, as they’re closing checkpoints early b/c coronavirus. I’m SO PROUD of him & the dogs, all strong & healthy & they made it 714mi! ❤️ #Qditarod

Last night, Boo drew the short straw and had to come to work with me to activate the State EOC during severe weather. He was such a trooper! I borrowed the dog bed from a coworker’s office. He was very skeptical of it for the first 6 hours. He made lots of new friends! #UglyDogs
