I was there... in 2001 when the Braves lost to the D-Backs. in 2002 when ATL lost to the Giants. in 2003 when ATL lost to Kerry Wood. in 2004 when ATL got blasted by the Astros. in 2010 for the Brooks Conrad disaster in 2012 for the infield fly I'm not going today.

I said it late in the season and again before this series, but it's worth saying again. Losing in the NLDS is a disappointment. In 2018, it was the “right” result. The Braves weren't as good as the Dodgers. In 2019, they were the better team, with home-field, and blew it.

I had an epiphany. Trae Young gets covered and discussed as if the 2021 playoffs never happened. He averaged 29/9 while leading ATL to the ECF as the No. 1 option by the widest of margins. And it’s just memory-holed to the point of comps to guys who haven’t ever done anything.
