#BLMBODFire & @IdahoLands firefighters worked together earlier this week near Jordan Valley, OR to conduct controlled burning of juniper piles. These piles are part of BLM’s Soda Fire Fuel Breaks project as well as juniper reduction efforts on state lands.

Idaho BLM, IDL, Boise National Forest and Simco Fire participated in Terra Torch training today. The Terra Torch is a ground ignition system that firefighters utilize for prescribed burns and is particularly effective in removing hazardous fuels along fence lines. #BLMBODFire
