Blake Corum is the most elusive back in the class when healthy!
This run is absurd. Demonstrates elite COD ability. I get big time JK Dobbins vibes with Corum.

TE Trey McBride in concussion protocol.
Branch was fined another $10,128 for a separate incident in the game.
I can’t even believe what I am watching with the Lions... insane draft my God.
On top of an already stellar class the Lions just added St. Brown who had a 2nd round grade from me and Derrick Barnes who had a 3rd round grade from me.
Also, I get asked the "If JJ McCarthy is so good how come they never let him throw the ball". Glad you asked.
I think it is important to note that Michigan had a 21 point+ lead in 11 of their games this season!
JJ McCarthy didn't even play in 7 4th quarters.
I’ve been scoring prospects since the 2015 class.
Jahmyr Gibbs scored as the 5th highest RB ever for me.
Sandwiched between two top 10 picks. Maybe the draft capital investment shouldn’t have been surprising?
The reported GPS times on Terrion Arnold are significantly more impressive than his timed 40 at the combine. Recovery speed wasn’t really an issue for me on tape.
Here he is running with Xavier Worthy 40 yards downfield.
Blake Corum had major knee surgery after the 22’ season.
It clearly took some time for him to start feeling himself again but the burst and wiggle started coming back around the Penn State game.
All of these runs are late in the year vs PSU, OSU, Bama and Wash. 👇🏼
100% a culture win. Ugliest win imaginable but DC has these guys convinced its never too late to get it right and start swinging back.
Game ball goes to MCDC.
Michigan QB JJ McCarthy for my money is the highest floor, “safest QB” prospect in the draft.
The question becomes how much ceiling is there? Throws like this are all over his tape.
He is the perfect marriage between high floor and high ceiling.
Who are your top 5 WRs of all time? Mine: 👇🏼
1.) Bryan Edwards
2.) Randy Moss
3.) Terrell Owens
4.) Davante Adams
5.) Who ever Bryan Edwards gets compared to tomorrow.

RB David Montgomery was tied for the highest forced missed tackle rate among all backs with 125+ carries. (.31)
t1. David Montgomery - 0.31
t1. Nick Chubb - 0.31
Blake Corum checks the box for all three of my RB premium traits.
✅ Ability to create beyond your blockers
✅ Vision
✅ Burst
I also love his experience running behind pretty much every concept you’ll see at the NFL level (counter lead below). He’s a stud.

This is one of the worst scenarios imaginable for the Lions. I am borderline speechless atm.
Good faith from past drafts completely flushed the down the drain.
2023 QBs by % of pass attempts [minus screens] against top-25 defenses:
JJ McCarthy (49.7%)
Caleb Williams (35.4%)
Drake Maye (17.9%)
Jayden Daniels (16.2%)
Over the past 5 years Theo Riddick has arguably been the premier receiving back in the NFL:
93.3 Receiving Grade - Ranks 1st
91 Forced Missed Tackles on Catches - Ranks 1st.
116 1Ds + TDs - Ranks 2nd
This should signal big things coming for Kerryon Johnson.
Alabama CB Kool-Aid McKinstry probably made himself some money here at pro day, running a 40 that scouts clocked as low as 4.47 — despite a Jones fracture that doctors discovered at the combine. He’ll have surgery Friday and is expected to be full go for camp.
Lions have drafted....
#4
on PFF big board, Jeff Okudah
#28
Julian Okwara
#40
Jonah Jackson
#70
Deandre Swift
If you move the order around the Swift pick doesn't seem so bad. 😅
Lions linebacker Jarrad Davis put up his best game grade of his career yesterday with a mark of 91.0. He was effective in run defense, as a pass rusher and most importantly, in coverage.

WR Antoine Green's game can be summarized quite easily.
-Release package
-Ball skills
-Speed
His usage was borderline hilarious. Nearly every target was a bomb.
DeShone Kizer targeted Darius Slay's coverage today 11 times. He yielded a passer rating of just 25.6 on those throws. Slay's game grade of 86.8 is the second highest for a CB so far this week.

I left Mobile absolutely blown away by
@seniorbowl
WR of the week, NDST’s Christian Watson.
First priority upon getting home was a deep dive into his film. Watson has speed and size for days among many other top-tier traits and skills.
A thread of what I found:
My pre-combine Top-10 WR:
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Rome Odunze
Malik Nabers
Brian Thomas Jr.
Ricky Pearsall
Roman Wilson
Ladd McConkey
Keon Coleman
Troy Franklin
Xavier Legette
Overall this group is insane. I have 18 Day 1 and Day 2 grades as of now.
The

pick up a productive vertical threat in WR Donovan Peoples-Jones.
In 2022, his 525 yards on throws 15+ yards downfield ranked 14th among WRs. Via

Lions get size, speed, and physicality at the catch point. Peep some of his top plays. 👇🏼
The way Brad Holmes aggressively attacks needs is incredible. He does not settle for minor improvements when it comes to the glaring holes of the team.
Given today's developments, it's clear that the Lions have a pretty obvious problem when it comes to making sure players and other employees comply with rules that should be pretty easy to understand.
JJ McCarthy’s arm talent really shined when I dove in.
I remember seeing the tight window MOF throws in real time but the zip, timing, and ease in which he gets the ball outside the numbers is awesome!
Here’s a comp of him dropping dimes outside the #’s from opposite hash.

are closing in on a deal with former

CB Justin Coleman that will make him the NFL's highest-paid nickel, source said. Big addition for Matt Patricia's defense.
Ricky Pearsall is a nasty, sophisticated route runner. He has a plethora of tools to pair with fantastic explosiveness in and out of his breaks.
Pre-combine he scores inside my top-5 WRs of the class.
Here’s a solid minute of him slaying younglings like Darth Vader.
Lions have won 4 straight and have done so by margins of 14+ in each. I don't think they have played a 4 game stretch of ball this dominant in my entire life.
I think people need to cut Aaron Glenn some slack. I mean, the offense gifted the Seahawks 21 points. The Seahawks, as well as the Chiefs are elite offenses.
Did I like his game plan? No. Is the defense the reason the Lions lost? Also no.
Buffalo eating 30m in a win now window to trade one of their best players away, albeit a descending player, is very telling.
Likely not the slam dunk for Houston people are thinking.
The Lions didn’t play a single snap of prevent defense/coverage in the 4th or OT. They stuck with mostly man until the bitter end. Coverage was pretty tight also. DL was just gassed.
Lots of super interesting nuanced debates over what went wrong with Bryce Young
Don’t think it needs to be that complicated. He was just too short.
Literally watch the tape and he’s throwing from his tiptoes. Sucks all the velocity from your throws
Designed RB runs against the Lions defense so far this year:
50 for 138 yards. Good for an average of 2.76 yards per carry.
They haven’t allowed a single carry of 10 yards to a teams primary ball carrier.
Some RB “style comps” for this draft class.
Blake Corum = JK Dobbins
Marshawn Lloyd = DeAndre Swift
Jaylen Wright = Blind Aaron Jones
Audric Estime = Jonathan Stewart/Nick Chubb
Trey Benson = Melvin Gordon
Bucky Irving = Devin Singletary
Jonathan Brooks = Alvin Kamara
Gibbs is not a bad player. Campbell is not a bad player but they both play positions that do not move the needle.
So even if both guys are hits, they only make marginal impacts.
This is one of the worst scenarios imaginable for the Lions. I am borderline speechless atm.
Good faith from past drafts completely flushed the down the drain.
2024 prospects I am WAY higher on than most:
OT Troy Fautanu
DI Johnny Newton
WR Ricky Pearsall
WR Xavier Legette
WR Jermaine Burton
CB Khris Abrams-Draine
CB Max Melton
IOL Christian Haynes
IOL Mason McCormick
DB Omar Brown
RB Will Shipley
RB Tyrone Tracy
TJ Hockenson (as expected), led the Lions O with a grade of 83.0. Nice debut for him.
The defense was led by Tracy Walker with a 81.2 grade.
Go get
@PFF
Elite for the rest!
Pure fantasy land thought I just had for the Lions.
Bengals are 0-3, might be worth a call to see if their cheap owner wants to deal Trey Hendrickson. TH is a difference maker and plays like a Lion already.
Some quick NFL Draft WR take - I would rather draft:
Ricky Pearsall than AD Mitchell.
Xavier Legette than Keon Coleman.
Troy Franklin and Jermaine Burton than Xavier Worthy.
With Zeitler getting added and DPJ getting resigned, the Lions can truly go BPA through the entire draft.
My hair would fall out if they also added Mike Danna.
It’s absolutely insane how fast the local radio station here in Detroit went from “Easy division champs” and “probably win 12/13 games” to sheer panic because of an overtime loss to another very good team.
@PrideOfDetroit
Horrible, awful, gut wrenching news.
However, I am confident that the listener base and community (especially YT/Twitch) that you guys have built will have no issue supporting you on a new feed, or whatever it takes.
Love you guys.
The Lions have brought in 3 WRs this offseason. All of them can absolutely burn it in the 40.
Tyrell Williams - 4.42
Breshad Perrimen - 4.29
Kalif Raymond - 4.34
While none of these guys are likely to be long term fixtures in the D, this regime seems to favor speed vs the last.
One thing not getting talked about is Taylor Decker easily had his best game of the season today.
Was dang near flawless in both the run game and in pass pro.
