We're pumping oil back into the massive R-3350 engines today following the winter maintenance oil change. By the way, each engine holds 70 gallons of oil and burns about 1.5 gallons of oil per flight hour. #B29Doc #aviation #warbirds

The #B29Doc annual winter maintenance continues and the team is working on the engine inspection. That means the occasional cylinder change on our CW-3350s. By the way, there are 18 cylinders per engine, 2 spark plugs per cylinder...so 144 spark plugs between all 4 engines!
