Let's get one thing straight - water companies don't produce water, they produce plastics. It's time to break up with single-use plastics and give our planet the love it deserves.

We can count it a fruitful evening after a conversation with
@kizzabesigye1
who emphasized the role of citizens in governance but also in policy and decision making.
This is what trans generational obligation looks like. Empowering younger generations.
Leveling up my age stats today. Forget about being a year older, I'm just one year closer to mastering the art of adulting – you know, the kind that involves saving the world, empowering youth, and resolving conflict plus proving that growing up is optional🥂
At
#COP28
one of the press conferences, I spoke about the urgent need for climate education. Every child deserves to understand the world they inherit and be empowered to protect it. Knowledge fuels action.

#ClimateAction
It's what you're thinking!! People buried, property swept away, transport means halted, children out of school but this is all because of climate change. Floods in Nigeria, water has failed to go down for a month now and we still think climate change is a problem waiting to happen?
I’m excited to officially announce my candidacy for Vice Chairperson-Policy & Advocacy in the Commonwealth Youth Council!

Glad to have participated in the

Climate change continues to be a daily reality for many of our people.
We can not solve this crisis unless we build capacity to do so through deliberate education.
It is an honor to introduce Denise Ayebare as our Director of Climate change education.
We've all been there, scrolling through news articles or social media feeds, trying to wrap our heads around complex climate science.
It can feel like wading through a sea of jargon and data, leaving us more confused than empowered to take action.
But fear not!
With a per capita carbon emission of 0.12, it will take an average Ugandan 129 years to emit the same quantity of carbon as an average American (with CO2emissions per capita of 15.52) in one year.
Yet our people have long been on the front lines of climate impacts.
Watched my friend's eyes light up as I showed them the beauty of a green future. It's time to take action and protect our planet 🌍

Global North wants us to prioritize mitigation strategies but who cares about countries like Uganda with large forest covers? We're not just sitting here as appetizers during negotiations, you know. We deserve solutions that cater for our unique challenges.

Africa, despite emitting only 650 million tons of CO2 annually—less than Germany's 800 million tons.

Africa needs $1.3 trillion yearly for climate action and clean energy.
Shifting responsibilities and deep mistrust trap us in a debt cycle, hindering green investments.
Climate negotiations must address these injustices and the impacts threatening our future.

Biogas not only supports sustainable farming but also improves the health and livelihoods of the community. 💚

For
New York uses more electricity in a year than all of Sub-Saharan Africa, where 600million people lack power.
With only 180 kWh per person compared to the global 2,674 kWh, Africa faces darkness.
For
